Let's start out by saying, this can be read as a standalone,
but I can guarantee you'll love Ben, Luke, and Reed as much as CJ and you'll
want to go back and read the rest of this series. I have been waiting for this
book since I finished the other 4! I feel like I've been waiting years and I am
beyond glad we had to wait because this story is perfection. CJ and Riley are
amazing together and I loved everything about this their story. I didn't want
it to end, I wanted and need more. I still want more, but I'm happy with their
story turned out. J. Daniels nailed this story was start to finish.
Riley Tennyson is one of my favorite characters J. Daniels
has in this series. She is in a crappy relationship but when she shows up to
her brother's wedding mad and all sorts of fired up, the thing she wasn't
expecting was her connection with CJ. She finds she can't resist the Tully
charm and now she is trying to decide if it was the best decision she has made
or the worst. We follow Riley back home and when CJ makes unselfish decision
she is forever in his debt. What she isn't prepared for is the Tully charm and
falling head over heels for him.
CJ Tully hasn't found the woman of his dreams or the
connection to a female that his friends have. Until a drop dead gorgeous woman
shows up at Reed's wedding, what he wasn't prepared for is it being Reed's
sister Riley. Riley is everything he wants and needs. She is it for him, but
making her see that is going to be harder than he is prepared for. After making
a decision to protect Riley, CJ finds himself in a situation of needing help.
Having Riley offer this help is the perfect way to get what he wants, her in
his house.
I love these two. Their connection was intense and watching
them fall in love is something I can't wait to read about again. I can't wait
to see more of CJ in Say I'm Yours. I love this series and I'll be counting
down the days until we see CJ again.
