[Cover Reveal] Want You by Jen Frederick

WANT YOU
By New York Times Bestselling Author Jen Frederick

 Summary:

Bitsy

I might be only nineteen, but I know what I want. It’s Leka Moore. I don’t care that he took me in when he was barely more than a kid himself. I don’t care that he raised me. I don’t care everyone thinks being with him is wrong. I know we belong together, and the only person I need to convince is him.

Leka

I found her in the corner of a dark alley. If I hadn’t taken her with me, she would’ve died that night—or maybe worse. Before I knew it, she became the light in my dark life, the haven from the madness. I watched her grow up. I tried to teach her right from wrong. Now that she’s an adult, I’m feeling things that no good man should ever feel. But then…I’ve never been a good man. I have a chance at redemption by saving her from the greatest danger of all—me.

This will be exclusive to Kindle Unlimited – On Sale July 1st

Review

**4.5 Stars**
I love anything Jen Frederick writes and this was no different. This can be read as a standalone, but you’ll want to go back and read the others since you’ll want to know the back stories for some of the other characters that are mentioned.
Adam is a musician and the song of a famous rocker dad. When Adam meets Landry he has a case of love at first sight. The only problem? He promised her brother Davis, singer in Adam’s bad MFK, that he wouldn’t do anything. I loved watching him try and fight what he had for her and just keep it friendly. It all seems to be going well, until they can’t fight their attraction to each other anymore.
Landry is a computer geek and hasn’t got much experience in the men department. What she does know is Adam is one hot piece of man that she can’t resist. She doesn’t want to give in to what she feels for him because of her brother and the relationship he has with the band. But some things can’t always be stopped.
I loved their story. Watching them finally give into what they have was perfect. I think what I loved about their story the most though is that they were friends first (even if they had to be because of Davis). But I think their friendship is what made the story even better.

[Review] Downed by Jen Frederick

Title: Downed
Author: Jen Frederick
Release Day: December 1, 2016
Series: Gridion, Book 3
Format: eARC

He’s the guy no one likes…
Despite winning two national championships, JR “Ace” Anderson was sent packing from his old school after losing the trust of his coach. At Southern U, he has a second chance to prove that his college legacy isn’t endless debauchery and selfishness. But his reputation precedes him, and his teammates offer a chilly welcome in the locker room. The one person who is willing to accept him is the very woman he should stay away from—his new coach’s daughter.
She’s the girl everyone loves…
Bryant Johnson’s only goal in life is to make others happy, even at her own expense. One look at her father’s new star quarterback, and she knows that Ace is her next project. With a reputation for being a “jerk whisperer”, Bryant has spent her last three years at college reforming sorry behavior and turning bad boys into the best boyfriends ever. In Ace, though, she’s met with surly resistance and a sizzling attraction she doesn’t expect. Fixing this wounded warrior will be her biggest challenge yet. Not falling for him will be even harder.
Between her big heart and his damaged one, a battle is ensuing. In this game of love, every defense will crumble.
Review

**4.5 Stars**
Downed is book 3 in the Gridion series, but can be read as a standalone (I'd recommend reading Jockblocked since you're introduced to Ace there).  I was curious where this story was going to go and I can say I wasn't disappointed!

The Ace (aka JR) we met in Jockblocked was a jerk, so I was dying to see how he would be in Downed. The story picks up when he becomes the new senior quarterback at Southern U. I wasn't disappointed in his story, it was everything I wanted it to be. He definitely had major grow as an individual and redeemed himself. Bryant couldn't have been a better counterpart for him. She helped him become this better person and it was fun to see.

Bryant, this sweet girl had me laughing at her witty banter with Ace and my heartbreaking as to why she had "projects" all the time. I loved watching her open up towards Ace and letting herself fall in love. She had this thing about her that just made you love her.

I hope Jen continues this series. I'm dying for Ty Masters to get his own story.
