[Review] Take Me Back by Meghan March

Review

Take Me Back by Meghan March is a book that had me holding my breath and wanting MORE. I was hooked and intrigued from the very start. We always get the journey of the romance but rarely do I we get the what happens after the happily ever after part. Meghan March delivers a book that crushes your soul with it's beautiful words, brilliant story, and second chances. I was in my own world reading this book and I could not put it down.

I know something was going on in this story because there were so many untold truths from the start. I didn't know what but I could sense them. I felt something big was going to happen. We get this sense of longing and regret in this book. It is all about the emotions and what led to them. I love how Meghan gave us flashback of what happened with the couple in the past because it made the whole book perfect. We saw how this couple got together and what led them to slowly drift. What Take Me Back is though, is something beautiful because we watch these characters fight for their love.

Dane was hands down a brilliant and strong character. I fell in love with him and his fight. He wasn't about to quit and he fought for their love. Dane is the type of character that you feel connected to right away. He is caring and thoughtful but he is also all alpha. You can sense it right away in the way he cares for Kat. Their story isn't ending and this is just the beginning of their path to the future. I can tell from page one that these characters felt sad but wanted to work at their marriage. But will they be able to win each other back with all the truths they've kept from one another?

I feel incredible passion and love for Take Me Back that not a lot of books give me. I like second-chance romance but they are not my absolute favorite. While reading Take Me Back though, I fell in LOVE. I loved everything about this story and that shocking factor is there. The book keeps you hooked and you just don't want to stop until your done. I spend hours reading it but it felt like minutes. Meghan March has done it with this book. It is a definite must read.

Review

Bad Judgment starts off quick. Meghan March gets right down to the story explaining what is going on. That is one of the things I love most because that is what makes me feel included in a story. Meghan March gets right to the point and I never feel lost or confused. Bad Judgment was such a fun and creative read. It included two fun characters, which made the book.

Ryker was absolute perfection. It really endeared me that he has been after Justine for two years! So yeah, he might be a playboy but at least he was persistent. LOL. He was so frustrating at times but then I was all over the floor because his words melted me. Something about Ryker is just perfection mixed in with a little bit of cocky. And it works.

Justine. Oh, Justine. You are such a great character. She is super smart and she works hard. I love her determination and spark. She knows what she is after and she goes for it. These two together are different but the same. It is strange to describe but they just work so perfectly. I loved their relationship and everything about then.

Bad Judgment is the perfect book to read if you want something quick and fun. The storyline will have you hooked until the very end. I definitely recommend picking up this book. It is very entertaining.

“Excuse me, Ms. Porter. Mr. Grant. Is there something you’d like to share with the class?” And we’ve officially been noticed by Turner. Justine’s cheeks turn red at the professor’s attention. “Sorry, Professor Turner. I’ve been asking Ms. Porter out at least once a week for the last two years, and she’s still shooting me down. You’d think I’d give up, but I just can’t let it go.” Justine’s face and ears flame even brighter red, and she slaps a hand over her face and lowers her gaze to the keyboard of her laptop. “And do you think that announcing this is going to help your case any, Mr. Grant?” “No, sir, but you asked if I had anything to share with the class.” The middle-aged man seems like he would have been cool in his day, and I know it’s true when he doesn’t bust my balls any further. “Fair enough, Mr. Grant, but save it for after class. I imagine you’re going to have a lot of apologizing to do, and perhaps some groveling.” “Thank you, sir.” Turner moves on to call on the next person on his list to recite the facts of the case, and I’m glad he didn’t bestow that little honor on me. Justine grabs the Chewbacca Pez dispenser between us and pops a few yellow candies into her mouth. Her face is still bright red, and Turner’s right. I should probably apologize for humiliating her, but it’s not like anyone in this room doesn’t know I’ve been trying since the beginning of our first year. She’s the only one who pretends like it’s not happening—at least until that night after finals at the bar. I haven’t been able to get the way her body curled into mine out of my head.
