About Coastal Elite
Jordan Kaisall has problems. Business problems, political problems, cheating ex-girlfriend problems. He knows that a week away from the Washington D.C. Beltway won't do a damn bit of good for those problems, but his beach house in Montauk is exactly where he needs to be right now. April Veach has plans. Work plans, travel plans, try-everything-once plans. Montauk is keeping her plenty busy this summer between decorating wedding cakes and teaching yoga, and busy is good. But busy is also a lonely bed, and that wasn't part of her grand plan. After a weekend together, his problems and her plans take them in an unexpected direction.

Review
**4.5 Stars**
Where do I even start with this book? I loved everything about Jordan and April's characters. Kate did an amazing job at describing them and bringing them to life. I was sad when the book ended because I couldn't put it down. I'm already craving for more of Jordan, so I hope we get to see bits and pieces of him again soon. This can be read as a standalone, it mentions characters from the Walsh Family series, but I felt this was entirely a standalone book.

Jordan is a former SEAL and Will's business partner (You meet Will in the Walsh Family series, so if you wanted read those and you want to fall in love with him, go read those next). When he returns home from an international trip to his girlfriend in a comprising position with someone who isn't him, he knows he has problems. What he doesn't realize is that this is the beginning to something he didn't know he needed. After being told that he needs some time away, he heads to his property in Montauk to relax for the weekend and see his "brother" Will and his family. This is where things get interesting and Jordan's life will change in a way he didn't know he needed.
April has to be the most eclectic character (besides Tiel) I think Kate has written and I LOVED her. There was this mysterious side to her I wanted to know more about and when you find out? Woah. It wasn't what I was expecting. I love how she was with Jordan though. She didn't let him go all "alpha" on her. Their relationship wasn't what I'd call typical l and I think that's why I loved them together even more.

I loved Kate's ability to bring Will and Shannon (plus Froggie) into the story as well. I was laughing out loud over nicknames Will would give people and they added to the story in a way that gave you the pieces of Jordan you've wanted since Will became his business partner. I can't wait to see what else Kate brings to us. All I know is I will be one-clicking them as soon as they are available.

For more about Will and Shannon and the whole Walsh family check out Kate’s Walsh series

About the Author
Kate Canterbary doesn't have it all figured out, but this is what she knows for sure: spicy-ass salsa and tequila solve most problems, living on the ocean-- Pacific or Atlantic-- is the closest place to perfection, and writing smart, smutty stories is a better than any amount of chocolate. She started out reporting for an indie arts and entertainment newspaper back when people still read newspapers, and she has been writing and surreptitiously interviewing people-- be careful sitting down next to her on an airplane-- ever since. Kate lives on the water in New England with Mr. Canterbary and the Little Baby Canterbary, and when she isn't writing sexy architects, she's scheduling her days around the region's best food trucks.

August Cotton shouldn’t be here. When a tragic accident calls him home to Magnolia Falls, this returned Veteran adds his parents to the list of things he’s lost in recent years, right along with his IED detection dog and his left leg. As the sole guardian of his four-year-old sister, August must rely on his Marine training in raising a tiny hellion who’s as stubborn as he is. But the Corps could never prepare him for this. Nor could they prepare him for Olivia Anders, a woman who’ll stop at nothing to get her way.

As owner of Paws for Cause, Olivia is no stranger to the broken men and women who return home from war. She’s no stranger to broken dogs either. In fact, she’s made it her mission to pair the two and enrich both of their lives, but pairing ornery and aloof August Cotton will take some work. The last thing August wants is some pushy southern woman occupying his parents’ bed and breakfast and forcing him to open up about the hell he narrowly escaped, but that’s exactly what Olivia intends.

They complete one another, and yet they can’t stand to be in the same room.

Can Olivia make this hardened Marine feel again and finally show his heart the way back home?
