[Release Blitz] Something So Perfect by Natasha Madison

something so perfect release day.jpg

Matthew

Drafted first round pick when I was seventeen, playing first line at eighteen, branded NHL's bad boy at nineteen. At twenty-three I was cut from the team and living back home with my parents. A knock on the door brought an opportunity I couldn’t turn down. All I had to do was prove I learned from my mistakes, so no way would I fall for a chick with a pouty mouth even if I wanted to spend all day devouring it.

Karrie

When my father gave me a job, I had no idea it would be to babysit some washed up NHL player. He wanted me to be his chaperone, his overpaid babysitter. I thought it was a joke. Then I met him, Matthew Grant. I wasn’t prepared for this particular bad boy. He’s not only hot but he’s arrogant and kinda sweet in a 'you make me crazy' kind of way.
Basically now that he’s finished screwing up his life, he’s decided to turn mine upside down.

She’s the first thing I’ve ever wanted more than hockey.

He’s the guy I know I should stay away from.

But what if this thing that started out so wrong turns into something so perfect?

[Excerpt Reveal] Twisted Twosome by Meghan Quinn

SBPRBanner-Quinn-TT-ER.jpg

Twisted Twosome, an all new sexy, laugh out loud romantic comedy from Meghan Quinn is coming August 3rd!

TwistedTwosome

Twisted Twosome by Meghan Quinn Publication Date: August 3, 2017

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Racer McKay is a broody bastard.
From the moment I met him, he’s been rude, irritable, and unbearable.
A contractor working to remodel my parents pool house for extra cash, he stomps around in those clunky construction boots with his tool belt wrapped around his narrow waist, and a chip on his shoulder.
Racer McKay is also infuriatingly . . . sexy as hell. I want to take that pencil tucked behind his ear, and draw lazy lines slowly up and down his body all the while wanting to strangle him at the same time.
We try to stay out of each other’s way . . . that is until I have no other option but to ask for his help.
But what I don’t realize is he needs me just as much as I need him. I have money he’s desperate for, and he holds the key to making my dreams come true.
Our pranks turn from sarcastic banter, to sexual tension and lust-filled glances. Bickering matches quickly morph into slow burn moments. We’re hot, we’re cold. We push and pull. I need him, I don’t want him. We’re on the verge of combusting with an agreement dangling dangerously between us. Neither one of us can afford to lose one another and yet, we’re finding it quite hard to decipher the line that rests between love and hate.

Excerpt:

Why is it so goddamn drafty in here? I grip my hammer in my hand, my tool belt riding low on my hips, and my stereotypical construction hat rests on my head as I finish up the project I was hired to do. Taking a quick look around, I search the bedroom looking for an open window or AC vent that’s blowing a cold breeze right against my dick and sac, making it almost impossible to look semi-decent in this scrap of fabric. “Mmm, I think you forgot a nail on the ground over there,” says the throaty, smoke-filled voice of Mrs. Sage, who is lying across her chase lounge wearing a silky pink robe that is barely tied around her waist. She makes it her mission to show me as much skin as possible, and as we’re talking about skin showing . . . I bend down to pick up the nail she’s pointing at as the thin strip of man thong material rides higher up my ass crack than I care to admit. Let’s pause for a second. Are you wondering to yourself, is Racer really wearing a man-thong as he finishes building a solid oak shelf? The answer is yes. Yes, I am. I’m Racer McKay and I wear man thongs for older, rich women while I work on simple projects around their houses. Excuse me, I mean mansions. Don’t worry. Yes, I’m also very much ashamed to admit the level I’ve stooped to in order to make some cash. I have my pride, but right now, when I’m offered three hundred dollars more to build a shelf in a man thong, I’m choosing to seize the opportunity. Self-respect was thrown out the window two years ago when a pile of bills and responsibilities were thrust in my direction without any preparation or warning. Making money is as vital as breathing to me, so I will take it any way I can get it. Cue the man thong. “Oh, you’re right. Here it is,” I say, holding up the nail. “Thanks for the help, Mrs. Sage. I would hate to see you hurt yourself from my lack of attention to detail.” She waves me off and puffs her chest toward me, her robe slipping farther apart, showing the cleavage of a very saggy pair of breasts. I’ve seen my fair share of boobs and even though I don’t mingle sex with work, I can’t help but want Mrs. Sage to remove the robe just so I can see what she has hidden under the silky fabric. How saggy are we talking here? I’m interested for exploratory reasons, for knowledge of every kind of breast out there. Because right now, Mrs. Sage looks like she’s rocking a pair of pancakes that have been flattened by a steamroller. “You would just have to nurse me back to health if that happened.” Her finger trails up her varicose vein-covered leg to her geriatric hip. I hold back the shiver that wants to spin up my spine. All I can say is . . . can’t unsee that. I nervously laugh and tuck my hammer into its holster. “Not much of a nurse, Mrs. Sage. I might hurt you even more.” “I don’t mind getting hurt.” She starts to spread her legs and that’s when I call it a day. I turn around quickly, snag my jeans and slip them up and over my legs, struggling with my tool belt getting in the way. Once things are in place, I remove my hat, put on my shirt, and then cover my hair with a backwards baseball cap. The peep show is over. Once dressed, I gather my tools, tuck my construction hat under my arm, and turn to Mrs. Sage. This is my least favorite part, getting the old bird to pay up. “Leaving already?” She pouts, lipstick on her teeth. “Unfortunately, I have another engagement I’m running late for.” A lie, but it’s the only way I know to get out of here. “That’s a shame. I really should book you for a whole day. That way you can’t skirt out of here earlier than I’m ready for.” She walks out of the den and into the entryway where she opens her purse and pulls out a wad of one-hundred-dollar bills. My brain explodes from the amount of cash in her purse, as if it’s chump change she’s ready to throw around at a parade dedicated to her and her riches. “What do I owe you? Six hundred?” Fuck, it’s five hundred and if I wasn’t a nice guy, I wouldn’t correct her, but I believe in good karma. Especially considering where my bad luck has gotten me—trying to climb my way out of a large debt. I try to put as many good vibes out in the world as possible. “We actually agreed upon five hundred, Mrs. Sage.” “Such a bargain.” She flips through her cash, pulls out five bills—damn—and hands them over to me. “Shall I call for my next project?” I pocket the cash. “Email is best, Mrs. Sage. I always feel awkward taking phone calls at work.” “Such a hard worker.” She pats my face and leans forward, lips puckered, but I step to the side avoiding an attack from her old-lady lips. As I depart, I wave my hand in the air and say, “Thanks, Mrs. Sage. I look forward to your next email.” Out of her reach, I toss my tools in the back of my truck, enter the cab, and place my hands on the steering wheel as I exhale a long pent-up breath. Preorder (2)

Review

Enrage by Rachel Van Dyken is a jaw-dropping, heart-racing, and phenomenal read that grasps you with every emotion you can think of. Enrage is one of the most mind-blowing books I have read this year and one of my top favorites. I fell in love with this series years ago and as the series moves forward, Rachel Van Dyken just takes things to a whole new level. She knows how to write and captures every reader by the heart. I am both amazed and terrified of her brilliance!

Just when I think these books can't get any crazier they do! I love every bit of that. It keeps me so invested in the book and the characters. This book was intense. Get ready to feel everything and wish for more. I am in love with the way Enrage consumed me. All the characters we love are back with ferocious energy and deeper roots. In this book, we get more of Dante and I am in serious love. He is such an amazing character. Just when you think you love one mafia man another one comes and clutches your heart. Dante is a combination of deathly, dangerous, and sweet. It is weird to combine these three things together but that is how it is. I know I keep gushing about him and this book but it is just that GOOD. This book is EVERYTHING.

The beginning of this books is full of that desire and all about fighting and trying to ignore your emotions. It is also where we meet El. The fierce and strong woman that has been through so much. It will break your heart but this makes El such a beautiful person. The tension and the sparks are at their strongest in this book. It will not disappoint.

Eagle Elite Fans be ready to love and break and most of all feel. This book takes you on one of the biggest journeys yet and will leave you feeling too much at once. Rachel Van Dyken's passion and love for words made this book unforgettable. I am excited for more Eagle Elite books with more passion, love, action, and energy. I can't wait for more!

About Brooke Blaine:

Ella FrankYou could say Brooke Blaine was a book-a-holic from the time she knew how to read; she used to tell her mother that curling up with one at 4 a.m. before elementary school was her ‘quiet time.’ Not much has changed except for the espresso I.V. pump she now carries around and the size of her onesie pajamas. She is the author of Flash Point, a romantic suspense standalone, as well as the co-author of the erotic series, A Desperate Man, with Ella Frank. The latter has scarred her conservative southern family for life, bless their hearts. Licked, a romantic comedy, will be released November 11th, 2015 and is the first in the L.A. Liaisons series. [Blog Tour] Well Built by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde

SBPRBanner-WB-BT.jpg

Well Built a sexy new second chance  standalone from Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde is available NOW!

CPEWWellBuiltCover5x8_BW_300

Well Built by Carly Phillips and Erika Wilde Publication Date: July 25th

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Synopsis

When it comes to women, sexy, well-built Kyle Coleman has always been a lover, not a fighter.  His one exception?  The tempting, beautiful Ella Fisher.  Her family and his share a tempestuous past, which make the two of them as a couple off-limits—despite the fact that she inspires some of his dirtiest fantasies. He's kept his hands off of her for years . . . until the lines between family loyalty and lust become irrevocably blurred one fateful evening and changes everything between them.

Excerpt:

Dan Briggs, the auctioneer in charge of today's sale, arrived and took his place in front of the small crowd.  Less than a minute later, Kyle caught sight of Ella walking out of the connecting market, a bright, self-assured smile on her face and a sassy pep to her step, as if this piece of property was already hers and this auction was just a formality. His gut clenched at what he was about to do to her, but he couldn’t let himself be deterred by an emotion such as guilt. Without looking at who was gathered to watch the sale, she walked up to Dan and spoke to him for a few moments, even laughing at something he said, though Kyle couldn't hear their conversation.  But he did have a clear view of Ella, and he took advantage of the opportunity to really study her without her guard being up, as he knew it would be as soon as he topped her first bid. It had been years since the last time he'd seen her.  In high school, she'd been a pretty girl, with a lithe body that had tempted him to indulge in all sorts of sin. She’d had a sweet innocence about her that had effortlessly drawn him in.  She was still slender with graceful long legs, but her curves were more pronounced and womanly.  Her fitted jeans emphasized the alluring dip of her waist along with the tight shape of her spectacular ass.  She was wearing a light blue T-shirt with Fisher's Grocery printed across her chest, and it didn't escape Kyle's notice that the breasts that had once been small swells of flesh were now firm and full and would overflow in his big hands in the best possible way. Her delicate features had matured, but she still possessed that natural beauty that didn't require any cosmetics or enhancements.  Judging by the loose braid hanging halfway down her back, she'd let her once-shoulder-length style grow quite a few inches, and he found himself wondering how those chestnut strands would look completely unconfined, and if her hair was still as soft and silky as he remembered. Something in his belly tightened, and he recognized it as attraction and desire, even after all this time.  If Ella were anyone else, or a woman he'd seen at a bar in the city, he would have already been working his way toward her to introduce himself and to see if the chemistry was reciprocated.  And from there, he'd buy her a drink, they'd talk a bit, and he'd get a feel for if she was up for a mutual night of pleasure. Kyle killed that line of thinking.  As much as Ella still tempted him, he was pretty certain that she'd knee him in the balls before she'd ever date him again.  Especially after she learned he was going to be her new business neighbor.

Review

Oh how I love this author duo! Kyle and Ella's story was no different. I got the best of both world's, second chance romance and one of my favorites duos. Watching Kyle and Ella fall back in love with each other was one of my favorite things about this book. They haven't seen each other in years and when Kyle comes back to their home town, everyone was in shock, Ella included. She didn't want to like him, let alone fall in love with him, but watching them give in and trust each other was just what they needed and what I needed.
I can't wait to see what else these two bring us in the future, I can guarantee I'm going to love it.

[Excerpt Reveal] Ready to Run by Lauren Layne

A reality TV producer falling for her would-be star:
a Montana heartthrob who wants nothing to do with the show.

READY TO RUN
I Do, I Don't #1
Lauren Layne
Releasing Aug 22, 2017
Loveswept

The Bachelor meets The Runaway Bride in this addictive romance novel about a reality TV producer falling for her would-be star: a Montana heartthrob who wants nothing to do with the show.

Jordan Carpenter thinks she’s finally found the perfect candidate for Jilted, a new dating show about runaway grooms: Luke Elliott, a playboy firefighter who’s left not one but three brides at the altar. The only problem? Luke refuses to answer Jordan’s emails or return her calls. Which is how she ends up on a flight to Montana to recruit him in person. It’s not Manhattan but at least the locals in Lucky Hollow seem friendly . . . except for Luke, who’s more intense—and way hotter—than the slick womanizer Jordan expected.

Eager to put the past behind him, Luke has zero intention of following this gorgeous, fast-talking city girl back to New York. But before he can send her packing, Jordan’s everywhere: at his favorite bar, the county fair, even his exes’ book club. Annoyingly, everyone in Lucky Hollow seems to like her—and deep down, she’s starting to grow on him too. But the more he fights her constant pestering, the more Luke finds himself wishing that Jordan would kick off her high heels and make herself comfortable in his arms.

Damn. Charlie hadn’t been lying about the hot blonde.
The woman walking straight toward him was all tight jeans, high heels, and confi-dence. And hot. Very, very hot.
Charlie muttered something admiring under his breath, and Luke’s gaze flicked to the man beside the woman. Tried to place him. Couldn’t.
Not too many guys around here who wore light-purple shirts and white pants with the same easy comfort that Lucky Hollow residents wore jeans and flannel.
No doubt about it—neither was from around here. Not by a long shot.
The man was a half step behind the woman, and Luke assessed that the woman was calling the shots.
His eyes narrowed as he realized that she hadn’t once wavered in her approach.
She knew what she was after:
Him.
She got closer and Luke saw that the face matched the body. Wide blue eyes, full lips, sassy shoulder-length blond hair that was just tousled enough to make a man wonder how it had gotten that way—to want to be the one to muss it.
Her gaze flicked over him, and Charlie whistled and muttered under his breath. “She just checked you out, man.”
She had indeed, but Luke was far from flattered. It hadn’t been the assessment of a woman checking out a man so much as a predator evaluating its prey.
As though she was evaluating him for . . . something.
Blondie stopped in front of him, and the second her blue eyes locked on his, Luke felt a little jolt of awareness and was irrationally annoyed. It had been a long time since he’d been quite so aware of a woman.
Once, he’d enjoyed the feeling—sexual chemistry was almost the perfect combination of pain and pleasure. A subtle punch in the gut that you wanted to experience again and again.
These days, though, he was having a hard time getting past the pain part. The shitty parts had outweighed the good parts just one time too many. Now he mostly settled for casual hookups with a divorcée a few towns over who was even less interested in com-mitment than Luke was.
He had zero use for attraction to a pretty, bold woman in high heels.
Luke noticed that for a sheer moment she had a slightly off-balance look, as though she too had felt the annoying zip of arousal when their eyes met, but she recovered quick-ly.
Pasting a sunny, generic smile on her face, she stuck out her right hand. “Luke Elliott. I’m Jordan Carpenter. This is my colleague, Simon Nash.”
Good manners had him setting down his equipment and extending his own right hand toward hers even as his brain caught on her name. Familiar, and . . .
Shit. Shit!
He managed to stop from jerking his hand back, but just barely. Instead, he gritted his teeth, gave her hand a perfunctory shake, and then fixed her with a glare. “You’re wasting your time, Ms. Carpenter. And mine.”
Blue eyes narrowed. “Aha. So you did get my emails.”
Those. The voicemails. The letters.
“Sure,” he said with a nod, shoving his hands in his pockets. “Just like I suspect you got the message that I didn’t want to be a part of your show.”
Charlie looked from the woman to Luke and back again. “Show?”
Ryan ambled over, his shit-eating grin telling Luke that this damn woman had already spilled the beans on why she was here. “Luke’s gonna be a national heartthrob.”
“International,” said the blond guy in the purple shirt.
Jordan Carpenter didn’t look at her companion, but all three firefighters did.
The other man gave the sort of easy smile that probably had him making friends easily. Luke didn’t want a new friend.
Especially not one who wanted to use his shitty romantic past for the sake of TV ratings.
