FALL WITH ME Synopsis:
Eleven months ago, bartender and weird-shirt-wearing extraordinaire Roxy and Officer Reece Anders had a one night stand. Well, kind of. She’s been in love with him since she was fifteen, and he wishes that night they shared never happened. She’s sworn him off forever, but the past and future collide, forcing her to rely on the one man who broke her heart not once, but twice. Her best friend since birth has been in a long-term care facility since he became a victim of a hate crime years ago, and the person who put him in there is out of prison and wanting to make amends with him and Roxy. She’s not sure she has room for forgiveness in her and when she begins to receive frightening messages and is on the receiving end of escalating violence, she thinks she knows who is to blame. The man who already destroyed one life already. But Reece isn’t convinced. The threats are too personal, and even if Roxy doesn’t believe him, he’s not willing to let anyone hurt her. Including himself. He’s already messed up more than once when it comes to Roxy and he’s not going to let history repeat itself.

Excerpt:

Someone—was it Melvin?—catcalled as Reece led me down the hall, and my cheeks flushed. “Okay, heman, I can walk all by my little self.”
He cast a look over his shoulder at me as he opened the office door. “I’m sure you can.”
Then he pulled me inside.
My gaze flipped to the roses—the roses!—but before I could say a word, he closed the door and my back was pressed against it, his hands planted on either side of my head and his face right in mine. Like right there, within kissing distance.
Wow.
“So, I was at my father’s place in New Jersey most of the day, and you know, he lives out near the Pine Barrens, so service is shit.”
I nodded even though I really wasn’t processing what he was saying as I was too busy staring at his mouth. Those lips, fuller on the bottom, drove me to distraction.
“I pull out of his driveway and I have all these messages from Dennis,” he continued, and I finally caught on to what he was talking about. “I honestly thought he was messing with me at first.”
I cringed. “He . . . um, he wasn’t.”
He shot me a bland look. “That much I figured out.” His hands slid on the door, stopping just shy of touching my shoulders. “What did he do to you?”
“What?” I blinked.
“What did that bastard do to make you throw a book through his windshield?”
Oh. Oh. My heart was now wiggling along with my stomach. “He really didn’t do anything. I just lost my cool. He wanted to talk to me, and I didn’t want to talk to him.”
“You don’t have to talk to him.”
“That’s what Dennis said, but I shouldn’t have damaged his car.”
A muscle flexed along his right jaw. “That’s true.” He shook his head. “Damn, Roxy, can’t say I’m surprised.”
My brows flew up. “You’re not?”
He laughed under his breath. “Babe, you’ve always had a hell of a temper on you.”
Ah, that was kind of true. “Is that a good thing or a bad thing?”
Reece cocked his head to the side. “A sexy thing, but vandalism and destruction of property doesn’t look good on you, sweets.”
“No. It doesn’t match my manicure.” I raised my hands, flashing him the blue nails.
He laughed again and then he sobered up, just like that. Cop Face was on, and yeah . . . the low coiling in my stomach told me I found Cop Face arousing. “You’re lucky. He could’ve pressed charges, and this conversation would be going in a whole different direction.”
My own half smile slipped off my face. “I know. It’s . . . I was just with Charlie, and he’s . . .” Unable to continue, I forced a casual shrug I didn’t feel. “What are you going to do with me?”
His lips parted as his chest rose with a deep breath, then his gaze dropped to my mouth, and his expression tightened. He looked . . . he looked hungry. “I have lots of ideas.”

Holding You by Kelly Elliott Cover Reveal

RELEASE DATE MAY 5

Lauren Reynolds wanted only two things in life—to run her father’s horse breeding business and Colt Matthews. Fearing Colt would take her position within the family business, she tried to push him far away from her heart.

When life could no longer keep Lauren and Colt apart, their two worlds became one. Every second of every moment, they spent together. Their love bloomed into something neither of them imagined—a bond so strong Lauren and Colt believed nothing would ever stand in their way.

However, life threw a cruel twist into Colt and Lauren’s planned happily ever after. Will fate let them live out the life they dreamed of, or will one of them be left alone, lost and angry?

“I’ll spend forever holding you … even if it’s only in my memory.”

EXCERPT

“I’m headed back to A&M tonight, Lauren. Come with me.”
Pulling back, I looked into his eyes. They were filled with a passion I’d never seen before. My mouth opened, but words wouldn’t form. Clearing my throat, I asked, “What are you saying, Colt?”
If there was one thing Colt Mathews could do, and do well, was swoon the hell out of me with his smile. And boy was he swooning me right now. My knees felt weak as Colt flashed me that smile that I had fallen in love with a few years back. That stupid crooked smile that I dreamed about every single night.
“I’m asking you to let me make you mine, Lauren.”
Holy mother of God. Play it cool, Lauren. Play. It. Cool. Colt wants to make me his!
Swallowing hard, I asked … again, “What are you saying, Colt?”
Colt chuckled. Pulling me closer to him, he moved his lips to my ear. “I’ve been wanting to make to you mine for so long, Lauren. I can’t bare to wait any longer.”
My lips parted open. “Me … um … I … I’ve never … ahh … what about …” For the love of all things good. I can’t even form a sentence. My mind was swirling with images of Colt making love to me. Colt naked. Colt kissing my body. Colt touching my body. My eyes widened in horror. The one thing I’ve wanted so badly for the last few years I was about to lose because I can’t form a damn sentence.
Colt’s lifted his hand and brushed the back of it down my face gently. “I’m scared too, Lauren. You’re the only woman I’ve ever dreamed of being with.” Closing his eyes for a brief moment before opening them again, he whispered. “I’ve never been with anyone, Lauren. My first time I wanted to be with someone I cared about. Someone I loved.”
Oh. My. Glitter. Swoon alert! We have a major swoon alert. My legs gave out and Colt grabbed a hold of me. “Lauren, are you okay?” Colt asked as concern swept over his face.
“You waited for me? I mean, you’re … a …um? Wait, someone you love?”
Colt pulled me closer as he nodded. I felt his desire pushing into my stomach. Something washed over me and I found my senes. Grabbing onto his arms again, I smiled. “I’ve waited for you too, Colt. Every time I dreamed of being with someone, I dreamt it was you.”
Taking a few steps back, Colt winked at me as a wicked grin grew across his face. “Follow my lead.”

EXCERPT

I wasn’t dating Liberty when I was with you at Christmas. It’s always been an off and

on relationship with her.” Dropping his head back he let out a frustrated breath

before looking at me. “I got confused, Ryn. I started feeling things … I mean … I had

feelings for you that I’ve never had for any other woman before.”

Oh my. That was not what I was expecting. My stomach flipped a little but I was sure

as hell not going to let this prick know that. “I see, so these feelings caused you to

call your other part-time girlfriend. Makes total sense. You’re such a prick.”

I started walking away from him. His hand grabbed my arm and I let out a gasp from

the instant tingles that spread through it. “Ryn … can you please just stop?”

I stopped walking and stood there. “I have nothing to say to you, Tristan.”

“You wouldn’t take my calls. I tried to call you for months. Do you know how pissed I

was when you were dancing with that dick …”

Spinning around, I placed my hands on his massive, hard as a rock chest and pushed

him as hard as I could. He stumbled backwards, but was able to keep from falling.

I wasn’t sure if I was pissed or if the hurt was all re-surfacing. “Fuck you, Tristan!

You fucking called another woman and told her how much you missed her for Christ

sake! You ignored me. It was if I was no longer there. No talking to me, no kissing

me, you didn’t even look at me!” I quickly wiped a tear away.

Tristan’s face looked pained as he took a step closer to me. “No!” Shaking my head, I

whispered, “No. You don’t get to try and make up for that now.” Turning, I quickly

made my way back to the beach house I was renting. And to Dodge, the only man

who could make me forget about Tristan Williams, at least for a little while.

Excerpt
She’s timid, constantly fidgeting. She’s moved the pillow on her lap at least twenty times. Her breathing is accelerated and her leg is bouncing up and down with nerves.
It’s taking extreme effort to concentrate on the movie. We’ve almost made it to the end when I hear her sniff. At first, I don’t think much of it, until it happens again. I turn to look at her and see tears rolling down her cheeks. Without thinking, I reach over and wipe the tears away with my thumb. She gives me a watery smile. “I forgot how it ended. I never would have agreed to watch it with you if I had remembered.” She chuckles at herself.
Something in my chest tightens at seeing her tears. No man likes to see a woman cry in his presence, but this is different. I feel…protective of her. Like I could kick Ben and Bruce’s ass for making her cry. Now I want to kick my own ass for even thinking it.
I watch as she offers me another smile through her tears. “Don’t hold it against me,” she says, chuckling. I have something I would like to hold against her, in her, whatever. I don’t get the chance to respond as the door to her apartment flies open. In walks Nicole and Bright. Fuck! This is not what I need. This is going to go down one of two ways. He’s going to be pissed that I pursued her or he’s never going to let me live it down that she’s gotten under my skin.

 Review

 3.5 out of 5 stars

I found this book to be simplistically adorable. I liked reading Levitate and can honestly say I finished it within a day. The chemistry between the two main characters was definitely there from the very beginning. I can see how Kensington falls hard for the ever so endearing Maxton. That boy has more womanly charms than the Earth has water. They have both had to deal with a lot of issues that have happened in their pasts. Their past ghosts continue to haunt them both. Kensington, understandably, is still struggling with the death of her mother, while Maxton suffers through the pain of losing his father. They are both living their lives with the burden of their pain alone, that is, until the day they meet. The moment they meet every rule, wall, obstacle they had standing in place in order to protect their hearts, comes crumbling down.

From the start, the story is interesting with Maxton leading with his lower regions, rather than his heart. This is one thing that really bothered me. At the very beginning he does a lot of things she doesn’t like, like unwanted touching and putting his lips on her without her permission. She just met the dude and he’s all over her. Seriously! Would you let a complete stranger do that to you?! If that was me and he made me feel uncomfortable by inappropriately touching me, let’s just say I hope the guy has some really good health insurance. It was a simple book with an adorable and of course extremely endearing ending. Levitate was a good book however it was nothing extraordinary. I would definitely recommend reading this book if you are into the not so typical love at first sight. Maxton and Kensington’s story is one to be appreciated.

"It's amazing how something you thought you never wanted is the one thing that makes you feel complete."

Author: Jay McLean
Genre: New Adult Romantic Humor
Release Date: March 3rd
Add ToGoodreads

Synopsis

"So…I came up with a plan.
I sat the brothers down and gave them my speech; we’d become male escorts.
The house was split.
The single dudes thought it was great. The guys with the steady girlfriends told the single dudes they were insane.
I promised them all we could make it work without hurting anybody. But we had to be smart about it. We had to keep it off campus. We had to keep it a secret. And in order to do so, we had to target those who wanted it kept a secret as much as we did.
Our target: Filthy rich, unsatisfied, horny housewives.
Keep it high class, so to speak.
And thus began BTC, or Boy Toy Corporation.
Crazy, right?
Crazy genius.”

-Tyler West.

Review:

Jay McLean is genius. How she comes up with this stuff? No clue, but I love it. Just when I need a little laughter and a lot of happiness in my life she gives me just that. To receive this ARC was amazing. Jay had given us little teasers here and there in her Facebook group and I just knew it was going to be hot.

Let us start with this, the guys are male escorts! How fun is that. For sure I knew it was going to be a very interesting read. So Tyler West starts it all and the extremely hot. He organizes the guys and I was just itching to learn more about him. He has a sweet and protective side to him that is so cute. We see him with these rich ladies and it just cracks me up. His thoughts, I can't deal haha. I was just laughing so much. He just has this commanding authority that I love.

The guys in the house are hilarious and there are a few scenes that had me laughing way too much! It was just so hilarious. I do not know how Jay could come up with this stuff but I loved it. The book was real short so I am making my review short and sweet. Im just dying to read more of these boys! They are crazy, hilarious, and unbelievable!

Now one more thing before I finish up this review, I bet you all are dying to know if there is love involved right? Well let me tell you there is! With a rich housewife you might ask or a normal college girl? So not spilling the beans so you are going to have to read it to find out! Good luck and be prepared for a lot of hysterical laughs!
