[Cover Reveal] This Love by Kelly Elliott

I was a self-appointed bachelor and happy to have the title. Everyone thought it was time for me to settle down and find a nice girl. Well, no thank you. This cowboy wanted to stay clear of relationships. I wanted the freedom that came with no strings. But what did I know? Nothing apparently. Everything changed when I looked into her green eyes; my world tilted when she smiled at me. What was this feeling? Whatever was happening had me losing my damn mind. I fumbled with my words. My body wasn’t my own. I wanted her … desperately. Was I ready to give up my bachelor days, or was this Irish girl simply an itch I needed scratched? This Love is book 6 in the Cowboys and Angels series

[Review] Blind Love by Kelly Elliott

Harley and I had our whole lives planned out, until her plans changed, and those plans didn't include me. After years spent trying to get the love of my life out of my head and repair my too-damaged heart, I thought I was finally moving on…but life sure has a funny way of letting you know when those best-laid plans are about to be turned upside down. My entire world was rocked when Harley unexpectedly moved back to Oak Springs. Every miserable moment I'd spent trying to get over her and every hour I'd wasted trying to erase her from my life came back to haunt me the minute she walked into my office, fear in her eyes, and asked me for help. Would I…or better yet, could I walk away from her this time after all that she had put me through? What I really needed to know is would I be able to forge ahead with the future I had so meticulously planned—one that didn't include Harley—or will her return finally open my eyes to a future full of endless possibilities?   Blind Love is book five in the Cowboys and Angels series.

The knock on my office door had me looking at my watch. Shit. It was seven.
“Come in.”
The door opened, and Cord walked in. “What in the hell are you still doing here this late?”
I shrugged. “I guess if I was being honest with myself, hiding.”
He sat down in one of the chairs facing my desk. “From?”
“Hell, I don’t know. Everyone.”
He nodded. “You want to talk about it?”
I dropped my pen onto the desk and scrubbed my hands down my face while leaning back in my chair.
“Fuck, Cord. I’m twisted up inside. I’m really trying to give this thing with Mallory a go.”
“What’s keeping you from doing that? Her kid?”
“No, hell no. I love little Laney. She’s precious, and I honestly hardly ever see her. Mallory is pretty strict about that. I’ll go over to pick them up for dinner or a movie, but I rarely hang out at their house. Mallory says she doesn’t want to confuse Laney.”
Cord lifted his brows. “Really? I would think Mallory would want you to get to know each other better.”
“Yeah, who knows. Maybe it’s for the best anyway.”
“So, what has you holding back?”
I stared at him. He already knew the answer. The five-foot-two, gorgeous brunette with the sun-kissed skin, and crystal-clear eyes that sparkled like emeralds was the reason I was so fucked up.
“I think you already know.”
He smiled. “Harley?”
I pointed to him. “Right, as usual.”
Pulling in a deep breath, Cord said, “She is looking damn hot. I heard Todd Schneider has been asking her out.”
My brows pulled together. “Steed’s old high school buddy?”
He nodded.
“How do you know this?”
“Corina told me.”
My jaw dropped. “She told you, but not me?”
Tossing his head back, he let out a roar of laughter. “Dude, why in the hell would she tell you?”
“I don’t know. Maybe because she’s my best friend, and she knows I dated Harley.”
“She also knows, like everyone else in town, that you’re now dating Mallory.”
“Still, she should have told me.”
“Why? Would it have made a difference to what is happening between you and Mallory?”
“To know that Harley is dating? No.”
I was getting better at telling myself that lie. Each night I laid in bed and thought about that fucking letter she wrote me. I had torn it up without even reading it. I had regretted it the moment I put it in the shredder.
“She said she had Milo in for a check-up, and Todd was in there with his new puppy. She overheard him asking Harley to dinner.”
I swallowed hard. “And Harley said no?”
He gave me a look that said I was pathetic. “Harley said no.”
Letting out the breath I hadn’t even known I was holding, I leaned back in my chair.
Cord stared at me. “Tripp, are you over her? Are you really able to say you can move on with another woman?”
“If you had asked me that before Harley came back I would have said probably. Maybe.”
“That shouldn’t make a difference, Tripp. What does her being back in town have to do with it?”
I let out a gruff laugh. “For starters, when I see her a flood of memories come rushing back. If Mallory is with me I can’t focus because I’m afraid she’ll catch me stealing glances at Harley, or she’ll ask me if I still have feelings for her.”
“Do you?”
“Yes. No. Yes.”
With a lift of his brow, Cord gave me an incredulous look. “Which one is it?”
Closing my eyes, I sighed. “I don’t know.”

Review
Oh, how I love this series! Tripp and Harley's story was one I was dying and it did not disappoint. There is something about a second chance romance that just makes my heart swoon. Watching these two together you can clearly see why they are destined to be together, but you can also see how their past gets in the way. Tripp has a lot of forgiving and understanding to accomplish to get true happiness in his life and Harley is the one he has to forgive/understand. When you learn why Harley did what she did, your heart breaks for her, because she was doing it for Tripp. It makes you fall in love with Harley even more.

I love everything about Tripp and Harley's story and I can't wait for more in this series!

Once I turned the corner I ran into something solid and knew I had spoken too soon.
“Harley? Darling, what are you doing?”
Taking a step back, I looked up into the deepest of blue eyes. They almost left me breathless.
John Parker. The man was the older image of all of his five sons. Handsome. Built. And a smile that made your knees week.
“Oh shit,” I mumbled.
“Hell, shit, fuck,” Chloe whispered next to me.
“Chloe Lynn!” John said.
“Hey, what’s going on?”
My eyes darted to Tripp.
Great. Just great.
“Oh hey. I was, um, just showing Chloe your new puppy.”
Tripp’s eyes about popped out of his head. Of course, the little rascal who had started all of this was standing next to me giggling.
“Ah. Come again?” Tripp asked.
“You got a dog, Tripp? That’s amazing,” John said as he turned and smiled big. “I’ve been telling him for years he needed a dog.”
I let out a nervous laugh. “Well, he’s got a cute one!”
“Wait. What?” Tripp said as he shot daggers at me.
“Who’s got a cute what?” Trevor asked, walking in behind Tripp and his father. Of course, the whole damn family would be walking through the very door I was trying to escape out of. We would have been better off going out the front door.
“Tripp’s got a new puppy!” Chloe called out as I hit her on the arm as a warning.
“Wait!” Tripp cried.
I panicked and did the only thing I could think of. I unwrapped the puppy and shoved it in Trevor’s face. When he was little he was a sucker for a cute puppy; I was hoping things hadn’t changed.
“Oh, my gosh! Look at this little guy,” Trevor said in a baby voice as he took the puppy from my hands.
“Great, you want him? He’s yours,” Tripp said.
“It’s a girl!” Chloe said with a clap of her hands. I hit her a few times to get her to take it back a few. We weren’t out of the woods yet.
“Aww, he’s so cute. Don’t worry, Tripp. I won’t steal your girl.” Trevor looked at me when he said that and winked, causing my cheeks to heat up.
“Now wait a second here,” Tripp started. I knew I had to cut him off.
“Tripp mentioned he wanted a hound dog, and when I saw this little girl in town, well, I had to get her.”
I could feel angry eyes on me, but I kept going.
“I mean, she was the last puppy and I felt so bad, I had to take her.” Looking at Tripp, I motioned with my head to Chloe, hoping he would catch on. “He was afraid y’all might be mad if she was in the house so I was fixin’ to take her to the barn.”
“What? Nonsense. Tripp, we don’t mind your puppy being in the house,” John stated.
“Hell, Patches is always in the house,” Trevor said with a deep rumbling laugh.
John sighed and lifted his cowboy hat to run his hand through his dark hair. A sigh of resignation escaped his lips.
“What’s her name, Tripp?” Trevor asked.
Chloe grabbed onto my hand and squeezed it hard as I held my breath.
It felt like forever before Tripp finally spoke. “Hemingway’s Whiskey. Hemi, for short.”
I pinched my brows together as I tried to figure out how in the hell he came up with that name off the top of his head. I knew it was a Kenny Chesney song, and Tripp liked his Kenny Chesney. But Hemi?
“What the hell kind of name is that for a girl?” Trevor asked.
Tripp forced a smile. “The moment I found out the dog was mine, I wanted to drink a fifth of whiskey.”

[Blog Tour] Love Again by Kelly Elliott

Jonathon Turner is going to be the death of me. Maybe not the death of me…but my panties for sure! They seem to disintegrate the moment he touches me. Looks at me. Smiles at me. Talks to me. It’s more than physical. He’s breaking through an impenetrable wall. There’s a problem though—he’s younger than me. Six. Years. Younger. Let’s not forget he’s also one of my brother’s best friends. Oh, the other problem I forgot to mention… I never wanted to fall in love again. But you know what they say….never say never.

I didn’t hear a word that the interior designer was saying. I was focused on the way Jonathon looked in those Wranglers. And his boots. And the freaking black cowboy hat that made his grey eyes stand out. I swallowed hard.
Jesus…could this guy get any hotter?
Jonathon caught my stare from across the room. When he smiled my panties nearly disintegrated. The man had never even touched me, and yet one look from him and I was damn near panting.
Yes, he could get hotter. Christ Almighty.
Before I could stop myself, my tongue ran over my dry lips. Jonathon’s brows rose and his boyishly handsome smile turned into a sexy-as-hell grin. When his eyes smoldered, my breath hitched.
I wiped my brow. Shit, is it hot in here?
Jonathon knew where my dirty little mind had taken me, and I was pretty damn sure his was going in the same direction. I closed my eyes and tried not to picture anything sexy, but failed. Me…up against the wall with him buried deep inside me, giving me a long overdue orgasm.
“Waylynn? Waylynn?” Ann’s voice pulled me from my naughty thoughts.
Popping my eyes open, I cleared my throat. “What? Huh?”
With a sweet smile, Ann repeated the question I had totally tuned out.
“The color scheme. Are you good with it?”
I frowned. What in the heck was she talking about? Color scheme? “Umm.”
The young woman waited patiently, while I stood there with my mouth open like an idiot.
“Color scheme?” I asked with a slight smile.
Ann laughed. “Did you even hear a word I said?”
My eyes darted to Jonathon. He was leaning against a desk in the middle of the room. It was the only piece of furniture that had been left by the previous owners of this space. His arms were now crossed over his massive chest, and he wore a shit-eating grin. Did the man know how freaking handsome he was? That sex appeal dripped off of him?
He winked, and I had to lock my knees to keep from falling.
Bastard.
He knew exactly where my mind had gone, because his was there as well.
Turning back to the interior decorator, I replied, “I’m so sorry. Jonathon was distracting me.”
One quick glance back and Jonathon’s smile vanished, replaced by a shocked expression. “Me?” he asked.
I nodded. “Yes. You.”
Ann was now staring at Jonathon. I could see by the look in her eyes and the way she chewed her lip that she was having similar thoughts. It was obvious by the way she was trying not to look in his direction while she talked. She was probably the same age as he was, and that pissed me off. Then again, I had to remind myself that Jonathon hadn’t been staring at Ann. He’d been staring at me.
“What did I do?” Jonathon asked.
I wanted to say that his hotness was making my panties wet, and the throbbing between my legs was making it hard to think, but I decided it was best to avoid the truth.
“That desk you’re leaning on. I keep wondering why the previous owner left it?”
Jonathon looked down at the desk as Ann asked, “Do you want to keep the desk? It would be beautiful refinished.”
I shrugged. “I’m not sure.”
Jonathon walked around it. “I’m sure we could put this to good use. I can come up with an idea or two.”
His head lifted and his eyes caught mine. I swore they turned as dark as the night sky. I swallowed, trying to ignore the pulse between my legs.

Review
To start off, I have to say this book cannot, I repeat CAN NOT be read as a stand-alone.

Oh this book. I swear every time I read the next book in this series, I fall in love even more and have a new favorite. Waylynn and Jonathan’s story was so sweet and perfect for them. Each page brought new amazing pieces to their story and you saw different things that were happening with Waylynn and Jonathan as the other siblings were experiencing their moments too.

The emotions I felt with Waylynn were so different than the others within the Parker family stories. She is intense, she is fierce and she is strong. My heart burst for her happiness at times and broke for her at other times. She is a woman who has gone through struggles and only wants to be happy.

Jonathan Turner is a man that I wish I could find. He is so sure of his love and need for Waylynn in his life. Watching him prove to her that she wants him was amazing. I couldn’t help but fall more and more in love with him.

Everything about Love Again was amazing. The journey of emotions you feel from Kelly’s writing is amazing. I can’t wait for more from the Parker siblings.

“Do y’all know what you want to eat or should I give you a few minutes?”
When the waitress handed me the sample of wine, I downed it. She tried to hide her chuckle but failed. “Yep, it’s good. Now pour me a big glass.”
“I think we need a few minutes, Evie,” Jonathon said.
“Sure! No problem. I’ll leave you lovebirds alone.”
I choked on the wine as Evie spun walked to another table. Setting the glass down, I glared at Jonathon. “What in the hell was that?”
He shrugged. “Evie being hopeful, that’s all.”
“Hopeful of what?”
With a knock-my-panties-right-off-of-me smile, he replied, “Us.”
Leaning closer, I whispered, “You say that like we’re an item.”
He poured a glass of wine and held it up. “I hope by the end of dinner we are.”
My eyes closed. “You drive me insane, Turner.”
With a grunt, he put the wine glass down. “No, you drive me insane. It was your flirty little text that had me in my hotel room with my hand around my cock.”
A lady behind us cleared her throat.
“Shut up!” I whispered loudly.
Frustration bubbled inside every time I looked at him. Was sexual frustration what got him in that fight? A small part of me hoped it had been.
“You told your family about me?” I asked, changing the subject.

The only woman who has ever made me long for something more, and let me tell you, that has me all kinds of messed up. After months of ignoring my feelings, it’s clear to me I’ve fallen for those piercing blue eyes and sexy smile. But is it too late? Have I pushed her into the arms of someone else? Hell no am I letting that happen. I’m on a mission to win the heart of the only woman I’ve ever cared about—and the only thing standing in my way is one stubborn and pissed off Corina. I always did like a challenge.

Excerpt
I followed him, my hands shaking as I grew angrier by the second. “That’s it? You’re going to let me move out?”
Mitchell reached for his keys, then turned to me. “I can’t force you to stay here, Corina. If you’re unhappy, then yes, you should leave. Do I want you to? No, I don’t. I know I fucked up, but if you’re going to throw it in my face every goddamn chance you get, then you’re right, this won’t work.”
He headed to the stairs that led down to his front door. My heart raced, and I knew I couldn’t leave it like this. Closing my eyes, I called out to him. “Mitch! You never asked me to the Pecan Street Honky Tonk.”
Stopping, he looked back up at me. “What?”
I swallowed hard and took in a quick breath. “The dance, you never asked me. And well, Lane asked me.”
Sadness swept over his face. “What did you tell him?”
Wringing my hands together, I answered, “I haven’t responded…yet. I was waiting for you.”
Mitchell rushed back up the steps and stopped in front of me. I don’t think I’d ever felt my stomach dip like it did when he raced toward me. He cupped my face and leaned in. My chest rose and fell with each breath as I waited for him to speak. His touch sent a flurry of butterflies through my chest.
“Corina, will you go with me to the street dance next weekend?”
My teeth sank into my lip, and I watched as his eyes filled with lust.
“Yes.” I smiled and added, “But only as friends.”
The corner of his mouth rose into a sexy smirk. God, how I loved that smile of his. “It’s a date, then.”
“As friends,” I added.
He leaned down and pressed his lips to mine. Before I could even process his lips, they were gone and he was stepping back. “I’ll take it. For now.”

Review
I love everything about this series! The Parker siblings are amazing and each of their stories unique and you can't help but fall in love with them. You first meet Corina and Mitchell in book 1,but each of these stories can be read as a standalone. If you're like me though, you want to read them all and in order.
Corina and Mitchell have always had this unique relationship and sexual chemistry that you can just feel coming out of the book. So, when we finally get Mitchell's story, I couldn't have been happier with how it went.

Mitchell is one thick headed individual. He has these serious feelings for Corina, but his own hesitations and reasons behind not wanting a relationship and hurting Corina. But you want to seriously SMACK him upside the head when reading because he such a man about things and you hurt for Corina and Mitchell's stupidity.

Corina is this amazing person who you can't help but love and want her to get her happy ending. But this thing with Mitchell is hard, because she loves him, even if she doesn't want too. Corina finally decides enough is enough and decides she's done with Mitchell, that's where it's gets interesting.

I loved Mitchell and Corina. Their story was perfect for them and you can't help but smile and love them at the end of the book.

For now.”

[Review Blitz] Love Profound by Kelly Elliott

I write about love, but I’ve never experienced it. Sure, I’ve been with guys that I cared about. Even thought I found ‘the one’. He turned out to be the frog and not the prince.
A few Frank Sinatra songs and a wildly handsome cowboy who calls me Darlin’, will have me second guessing everything I ever thought I knew about love.
Does happily ever after really exist…or is it only something I write about in books?
Love Profound is book two in the Cowboys and Angels series.

Review
Oh how I love everything Kelly gives us. Add in Cowboys and I love it even more. I love the entire Parker family and getting each of their stories is something I am so excited so. Amelia's story was no different. Amelia is the baby of the family and with as many brothers as she has, you know it's going to be good. Add in Wade and oh my! The banter between these two was amazing. I couldn't put the book down and I didn't want it to end.

Wade is purely swoon worthy. I couldn't stop myself from falling in with love him more and more as I read. His relationship with her brothers added to his appeal and knowing he got the family concept made him even more perfect.

I didn't want Amelia and Wade's story to end. I loved their relationship and all the moments they had me laughing. I can't wait to see what else Kelly brings to us in this AMAZING series.
