“I Do.” My name is Whitney Wheeler and I’ve dreamed of saying those two words since I was ten years old. I thought my dream was finally coming true. Fate, however, has other plans. My perfectly planned life hits a snag eight days before our wedding. I walk in on my fiancĂ© on the couch with someone who isn’t me. Trying to “blow off” that visual, and without thinking, I accept an invitation to take a road trip with the boy who broke my teenage heart. Lucas DeCosta is all man, and surprise surprise—a male stripper. Beyond his movie-star good looks, his oh so sexy dance moves, and those big brown eyes, I find a kind heart and the overall goodness of the boy who still sets my heart on fire. Each time he looks at me, I feel it. Zing. Zang. Electricity. It. When life hands you lemons . . . take a shot of tequila and hand fate the keys to your life. Because, sometimes the best thing to say is “I Don’t” before you can ever say “I Do.”

  Excerpt:

Slowly opening my eyes, I stretch my arms above my head and point my toes toward the bottom of the bed. It’s been a long time since I’ve slept that soundly. This bed must be made of angel wings or something, because it is heaven. Yep, I totally said that. I’m not even sorry. Glancing over, Lucas’s bed is empty with the covers pulled up like he made it. He makes his hotel bed. Who knew there were two of us? I always make my bed, even in a hotel. The room is quiet except for the sound of the shower running. Thoughts of Lucas showering send a shiver up my spine. A shiver I have no right to. A shiver that is highly inappropriate for an engaged woman, but a woman I am, and that man is sex personified, and I would have to be without a pulse to ignore him. Ignoring the full bladder begging me to barge in on his shower and relieve it, I instead grab my phone to check the time. It’s not too early, so I might as well bite the bullet and call my mom. The phone doesn’t make it a full ring before she’s answering in a huff. “Whitney Nicole. Where are you?” When Jessi or any of the girls use my full name, I’m okay with it. I find it funny. With my mom? Yeah, I’m eight years old again. “Momma.” That always makes her feel good. “Don’t you Momma me, Whitney. Where are you? Trenton is going insane with worry . . .” The rest of her rant is white noise at the realization the cheating bastard called my parents. How dare he? He knows damn well my mother will lose her mind if there’s a possibility this wedding isn’t happening. “Daughter? Are you there?” “Did you just call me ‘daughter’? Really, Mom?” “Cut the shit, Whitney. When are you coming home? Your wedding is in five days. There is too much to be done for you to have cold feet. Suck it up and get your ass home. Your cousins and the rest of the family start arriving tomorrow. You are not leaving me alone with Aunt Carla.” “Mother, she’s your sister.” “Yeah well, she’s a pain in the ass. Probably going to wear white. That would be just like her . . .” More white noise as she rambles on about my aunt and her need to be the center of attention. I love Aunt Carla and wouldn’t consider getting married without her there. With my phone nestled between my ear and shoulder, I start picking at my cuticle when a cloud of steam fills the room, and I look up to see Lucas walking in from the shower. Dressed in a pair of shorts and yet another snug T-shirt, he’s drying his hair with a towel, and when he catches my eye, a bright smile takes over his face. Zing. Zang. Electricity. It. “Are you listening to me?” My mom’s shrill draws my attention back to the call, and I hold my finger up to my lips telling Lucas to be quiet. With a nod, he turns back toward the bathroom, and I turn my attention back to my mother. A little arguing, a few promises, and a guarantee I will be back for the wedding day, my call with my mom ends. “It’s all clear.” Lucas returns to the room, the smile now a smirk as he arches a brow to me and says, “I feel like a dirty secret.” Rolling my eyes, I toss my phone on the bed and hop from the bed with the bathroom my mission. As I pass him, I tap his arm with a smile. “Not much dirty happening here but secret, yes.” As I enter the bathroom, I swear I hear him say something about getting dirty and a little flutter hits me right in the lower belly.

Review
Oh, did I love this story. I was full on giggling over Whitney and her set ways. But then again, I was full on laughing watching Lucas and Whitney FINALLY give in to their feelings that started back when they were 15. Was it easy? no. Was it hilarious to watch? Yes. Everything about the friends being involved to watching them FINALLY get together was just what I needed. I feel like Whitney discovered herself along this journey and that made her relationship and the years worth of feelings for Lucas even stronger. Due to the friendship they had first, this made their romantic relationship stronger and Lucas was able to woo Whitney with things he wanted to back in the day.
I loved everything about this story and am so glad I was able to read it.

Blurb
A sexy agent hounds Wall Street’s hottest new wolf in an exhilarating novel from New York Timesbestselling author Lauren Layne.
Ian Bradley is the definition of a Wall Street hotshot: seven-figure salary, designer suits, and a corner office. His drive off the floor is just as potent. Every woman who knows him has felt the rush. But now he’s met his match in Lara McKenzie—a woman with the power to bring Ian to his knees.
An ambitious, whip-smart daughter of FBI agents, Lara is a rising star in fighting white-collar crime. Her latest case—the investigation of Ian Bradley for insider trading—could make her career. She knows a scoundrel when she sees one. Ian fits the bill: a cocky, ridiculously handsome bad boy with a slick swagger.

Review
Oh man, Lauren Layne has done it again. I have a feeling the 21 Wall Street books are going to be some of my favorites. Hot Asset is one of my favorite books of Layne's to date and I can't help but wanting to go back and read it again already.
Right off the bat, we meet manwhore Ian. He's a Wall Street egotistic, who isn't afraid to brag about how good his life is. The only problem? There is more to Ian than you think there is. There's a side to him you aren't prepared for. But it made him even better. Okay, back to his manwhore ways...most women can't resist him and one look at him and they fall... until the woman he meets in the company coffee lounge.
Lara Mckenzie, oh how I loved her! This power house of woman was just what I needed. She's gorgeous, she's strong, she resists all of Ian's comments and kindly tells him, she isn't interested. Lara has a job to do... she's a SEC investigator, investigating Ian. Oh, did the story get good at that point.
Everything about Ian and Lara was perfect. I couldn't help but love watching navigate their attraction, their complicated situation and how they achieved their happy ending. I can't wait for book 2 in this series of standalones.

[Review] Brooklynaire by Sarina Bowen

A sexy new standalone from USA Today bestseller Sarina Bowen.

You’d think a billion dollars, a professional hockey team and a six-bedroom mansion on the Promenade would satisfy a guy. You’d be wrong.

For seven years Rebecca has brightened my office with her wit and her smile. She manages both my hockey team and my sanity. I don’t know when I started waking in the night, craving her. All I know is that one whiff of her perfume ruins my concentration. And her laugh makes me hard.

When Rebecca gets hurt, I step in to help. It’s what friends do. But what friends don’t do is rip off each others’ clothes for a single, wild night together.

Now she’s avoiding me. She says we’re too different, and it can never happen again. So why can’t we keep our hands off each other?

 Review

**4.5 Stars**

Everything about Brooklynaire was amazing. I started the book later in the evening and let’s just stay, I ended in the wee hours of the morning. Hours had past and I hadn’t even realized it, Nate and Rebecca’s story sucked in my and I couldn’t put it down.

We’ve been given snippets of Rebecca and Nate throughout the Brooklyn Bruisers series. The chemistry has been there, at least on Rebecca’s part, but I’ve always been curious what is going on with Nate. When Nate bough the Brooklyn Bruisers he transferred Rebecca to that office instead of his main office and she always questioned why. What she didn’t know was her hunky boss was just as hopelessly in love with her as she is with him.

The journey these two went on to be together had to be one of my absolute favorites. I loved everything about their story, their chemistry, their passion and the love they are both keeping hidden. You can’t help but LOVE them and their story. You can’t help but feel for them both as they struggle to get what they both want in the end, which is each other. Nate and Rebecca capture your heart and you seriously can’t help but fall in love with them and their amazingly perfect story.

[Blog Tour] Tempting Love by Kelly Elliott

Can a woman actually make you feel like you’re losing your damn mind? Yes. If she is Corina Miller. The only woman who has ever made me long for something more, and let me tell you, that has me all kinds of messed up. After months of ignoring my feelings, it’s clear to me I’ve fallen for those piercing blue eyes and sexy smile. But is it too late? Have I pushed her into the arms of someone else? Hell no am I letting that happen. I’m on a mission to win the heart of the only woman I’ve ever cared about—and the only thing standing in my way is one stubborn and pissed off Corina. I always did like a challenge.

Excerpt
I followed him, my hands shaking as I grew angrier by the second. “That’s it? You’re going to let me move out?”
Mitchell reached for his keys, then turned to me. “I can’t force you to stay here, Corina. If you’re unhappy, then yes, you should leave. Do I want you to? No, I don’t. I know I fucked up, but if you’re going to throw it in my face every goddamn chance you get, then you’re right, this won’t work.”
He headed to the stairs that led down to his front door. My heart raced, and I knew I couldn’t leave it like this. Closing my eyes, I called out to him. “Mitch! You never asked me to the Pecan Street Honky Tonk.”
Stopping, he looked back up at me. “What?”
I swallowed hard and took in a quick breath. “The dance, you never asked me. And well, Lane asked me.”
Sadness swept over his face. “What did you tell him?”
Wringing my hands together, I answered, “I haven’t responded…yet. I was waiting for you.”
Mitchell rushed back up the steps and stopped in front of me. I don’t think I’d ever felt my stomach dip like it did when he raced toward me. He cupped my face and leaned in. My chest rose and fell with each breath as I waited for him to speak. His touch sent a flurry of butterflies through my chest.
“Corina, will you go with me to the street dance next weekend?”
My teeth sank into my lip, and I watched as his eyes filled with lust.
“Yes.” I smiled and added, “But only as friends.”
The corner of his mouth rose into a sexy smirk. God, how I loved that smile of his. “It’s a date, then.”
“As friends,” I added.
He leaned down and pressed his lips to mine. Before I could even process his lips, they were gone and he was stepping back. “I’ll take it. For now.”

Review
I love everything about this series! The Parker siblings are amazing and each of their stories unique and you can't help but fall in love with them. You first meet Corina and Mitchell in book 1,but each of these stories can be read as a standalone. If you're like me though, you want to read them all and in order.
Corina and Mitchell have always had this unique relationship and sexual chemistry that you can just feel coming out of the book. So, when we finally get Mitchell's story, I couldn't have been happier with how it went.

Mitchell is one thick headed individual. He has these serious feelings for Corina, but his own hesitations and reasons behind not wanting a relationship and hurting Corina. But you want to seriously SMACK him upside the head when reading because he such a man about things and you hurt for Corina and Mitchell's stupidity.

Corina is this amazing person who you can't help but love and want her to get her happy ending. But this thing with Mitchell is hard, because she loves him, even if she doesn't want too. Corina finally decides enough is enough and decides she's done with Mitchell, that's where it's gets interesting.

I loved Mitchell and Corina. Their story was perfect for them and you can't help but smile and love them at the end of the book.

[Blog Tour] Runaway Groom by Lauren Layne

“Lauren Layne gets the red rose for this one, and fans of The Bachelor will fall in love with this thoroughly charming story.”Kate O’Keeffe, bestselling author

RUNAWAY GROOM
I Do, I Don't - Book 2
Lauren Layne
Releasing Jan 30, 2018
Loveswept

For one charming playboy, getting cast on a Bachelor-esque reality TV show is the shock of a lifetime—until he finds love where he least expects it.

Gage Barrett’s reputation as a ladies’ man has been greatly exaggerated, but none of that matters after a drunken bet lands him on Jilted, a reality TV show that matches runaway grooms with wannabe brides. Now he’s stuck at a Hawaiian resort with nineteen women competing to drag him back to the altar—and one contestant who’s even more miserable than he is. Gage has no idea how feisty, independent Ellie Wright wound up in the cast, but it’s obvious she hates his guts. And if there’s one thing Gage likes, it’s a challenge. . . .

Ellie can’t believe she let her best friend talk her into exchanging her dignity for a glorified bikini contest. Still, she could use the exposure—her business is struggling—and she’ll probably be one of the first to get eliminated anyway. But Gage isn’t the shallow jerk Ellie anticipated—and he’s in no rush to send her home. As stolen kisses turn into secret trysts, she finds herself losing track of what’s real and what’s for the camera. With the wedding finale looming, this runaway groom is tempting Ellie to start believing in storybook endings.

**4.5 Stars**

I love everything that Lauren Layne gives to us. Runaway Groom was no different. There is something refreshing about Gage and Ellie. Their story was fun and full of laughter. Gage didn't want to do a bachelor type show, but somehow he lost a best and we were given an amazing story of two unlikely people who fell in love.

Ellie never thought she'd be competing to win a man's heart on national TV, let alone have it be Gage. But here she was, being number 21 thanks to her mom and best friend/business partner. I loved Ellie. She wasn't your typical female that one would picture going on a reality TV show. I think that's why I loved her even more. Gage wasn't what I was expecting either. The traits that make me think of a typical actor when picturing an actor, but I was pleasantly surprised at how wrong I was about him.

Gage and Ellie were refreshing. They were funny and they were just what I needed to get me out of my book funk. I can't wait for more from Lauren Layne.

[Release Blitz] The Upside to Being Single by Emma Hart

If anyone asks, I knew better than to flash my boobs for Mardi Gras beads.

I still don’t know why I did it. Maybe it was the dare from my two best friends. Maybe it was the guys on the balcony saying they’d throw Fireball shots with the beads. Or maybe it was the quiet guy in the corner of that same balcony with piercing gray eyes, wavy dark hair, and a smile so tempting I wanted to climb up there and lick it off his face. Maybe it was because I never thought I’d see them again. Not that it matters. Not today. Because the hotel I manage was finally bought—and the guy who walks in and introduces himself as my new boss is Mr. Tall, Dark, and Silent. There are many upsides to being single. Your new boss knowing what your boobs look like? Not one of them.

“I just—I don’t get it.” I threw myself onto the sofa and almost sent the box of donuts flying onto the floor. Thankfully, Peyton was quicker than the box. She grabbed it and sat back, hugging it to herself. “First, watch the donuts. I got the last two pink sprinkles, and I’m partial to them.” She stroked the top of the box. “Second, what don’t you get? How he doesn’t care about your boobs? I don’t care about them either.” “You’re not supposed to care about my boobs. You’re a woman, for a start.” “I care about your boobs,” Chloe interrupted, tucking her blond hair behind her ear. “I think you have great boobs. Bra or no bra.” “Usually no bra,” Peyton added. “I’m not afraid to throw something at you,” I warned her. “This is awkward.” “Ugh! Get over yourself, Melanie!” Peyton snapped her fingers. “You are a grown woman. He is a grown man. He saw your tits. So what? Steven Lawrence saw your tits five times in junior year.” I snatched a donut from the box. Don’t tell my hips. “We were dating! It’s entirely different!” Chloe delicately picked up a white-iced donut before saying, “She’s right. It is different, Peyt. They were dating, and Jacob is her boss. You can’t expect her to just get over that. It is partly your fault.” “It’s just as much your fault,” Peyton reminded her, then looked at me and nodded toward Chloe. “Drunky smurf over here shook her Tic-Tacs like she was in front of a bachelor party leaving a curry house.” I choked on my laughter. “That’s not the point. You got us drunk. It’s almost entirely your fault.” “Look, sunshine,” she said, tearing a bite of donut off the ring so her words were muffled. “I didn’t grab your shirt and whip it up like a two-dollar hooker on overtime. You did that, so grow a pair and take responsibility for your actions.” “You sound like you don’t want to take responsibility for yours.” “Hey. You’re big girls. You can refuse cocktails.” Chloe and I shared a glance. “Refuse cocktails?” she said. “I don’t understand.” “You have us mixed up with your other friends,” I continued. “But, wait. You don’t have other friends.” “I have plenty of friends,” Peyt said. “Friends without penises. Or benefits.” She paused. “We’re not talking about me. We’re talking about your hot boss who knows what your tits look like.” “You’re not helping.” “I’m not trying to help. I’m trying to slap your size-eight ass into reality, you idiot.” “Slap mine into reality and I’m putting yours on a catapult. Right into the middle of the gulf.” I tore my donut in two and gave her boobs a pointed look. “I always wondered if silicone would float.”

There is seriously something amazing about how this author writes romantic comedies, I know hands down I will always one-click her purchases, and this book was not different. This book was laugh out loud hilarious and had two amazing main characters who were crazy and made for each other. Plus, I mean any book that has their blurb contain the phrase "Your new boss knowing what your boobs look like?" from the author, you know it's going to be a wild ride.

Jake and Mellie... what can you say about these two besides that they were downright ridiculous and hilarious with each other. They met each other in an unconventional way, when Mellie thought she'd never see Jake again- flashing him her boobs at Mardi Gras. Enter the next morning when Jake enters the hotel Mellie works at, as the new owner. The wild ride of these two fighting off the chemistry that is clearly present has you laughing out loud. You can't help but love Mellie and her awkward, clumsy self. Everything about Mellie is amazing. She's strong, she's sassy, and she's an amazing heroine who you just want to be your new best friend. Jake, this man is everything Mellie didn't know she needed or wanted. She was content being single and hanging out with her friends. But Jake came in and changed that whole thought, slowly but he did.

I couldn't get enough of these two, knowing this is book one in a series of standalones that will feature Mellie's two crazy best friends made me love it even more and I can't wait to get my hands on those bad boys.

It should have been easy.
I needed the money. He needed a babysitter to keep him from snorting himself to death.
I was cherry-picked especially for him. Responsible. Optimistic. Warm. Innocent.
The worst part is that I should have known better.
Alex Winslow. British rock star. Serial heartbreaker. Casanova with whiskey eyes.
“Don’t get near the devil in a leather jacket. He’ll chew you up and spit you out.”
Sounds familiar? That’s because it was a headline in a tabloid the second time he got arrested.
Guess what? I didn’t listen.
I signed the contract.
World tour. Three months. Four Continents. One hundred shows.
My name is Indigo Bellamy, and I sold my soul to a tattooed god.
Problem was, my soul wasn’t enough for Alex Winslow. He ended up taking my body, too.
Then he took my heart.
Then he took my all.
Excerpt:
Nat’s words came back and haunted me like a bad haircut from the eighties. An irrational need to check the goods took over me. It wasn’t like he minded. According to the rumors, his dick had seen more cameras than Kendall Jenner. Slowly—so painfully slowly—my eyes drifted down his sinewy body. I just wanted to see what all the fuss was about. Whatever I had in mind, though, didn’t come close to the real thing. Thick, long but not atrocious. With thin veins running through its length. “Nice view?” he groaned, tucking his junk back into his briefs. His profile was glorious. Strong jaw, pouty lips, eyes like sex… My eyes snapped up when I realized he was talking to me. “I wasn’t…” “Looking? Yes, you were. Next time take a picture. It lasts longer.” He rolled his zipper upward and flushed the toilet with the toe of his boot. He turned around and squirted soap into his palm, washing his hands almost violently—rubbing between each finger and scratching his knuckles like he wanted to shed his own skin. When he was done, he looked around for a towel. I cleared my throat, scrambling to regain my wits. “Longer than the glimpse or longer than your performance?” Casually—so unbearably casually—he wiped his wet hands over my purple dress. I gasped, moving sideways. It looked like he was about to open the door and get out, but before I had the chance to yell at him for using me as a human towel, he slammed me against the wall, bracing both his arms above my head and pinning me to my spot. I let out a shriek of surprise at the sudden proximity. Alex Winslow is touching me. Willingly, my surprisingly pitiful brain squealed. Heat rolled off his body, making my back arch and my breath catch in my throat. “Let’s make one thing clear—I could fuck you to a point of numbness without even breaking a sweat if I wanted to. Now, careful, New Girl. If you don’t keep your distance from me, I think I just might.”

Rockstar books are some of my absolute favorites. Midnight Blue wasn't a disappointment. Alex and Indie couldn't be more different. Alex is cocky, rude, guarded and kind of a jerk. Indie is sweet naive and just trying to help her family. The connection between these two is something that I couldn't stop reading. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants a good rockstar read.

[Blog Tour] True by Ella Frank

SBPRBanner-TRUE-RB-2

TRUE, the final book in The Temptation Series by Ella Frank and the highly anticipated wedding between Logan Mitchell and Tate Morrison is available now!

TRUE-FINAL

Synopsis:

True - adjective: That which is accurate or exact.
I dare you to try.
I think you’re my truth.
Terrify me.
Marry me.
Marry me.
Marry me...
Four years ago, Logan Mitchell walked into Tate’s life and challenged him to see it differently.
He dared Tate to try a kiss, when normally he wouldn’t have.
He begged him to take a chance, when he probably shouldn’t have.
But most importantly, he asked Tate to trust that he would love him, and he did. From that moment on, Tate realized exactly what his life had been missing—Logan.
Happily-ever-afters come in many different forms. But for Tate Morrison, there’s only one ending he wants. The one where the guy marries the guy and true love conquers all.
Now all he has to do is tell Logan.
Join Logan and Tate as they finally realize what the rest of us knew all along. That they belong together for better or worse—always.

Excerpt:

LOVE. IT’S FUNNY how one four-letter word can bring on such an onslaught of emotions. Happiness, desire, anger, even fear, Tate Morrison thought, as he sat at the tiny table in the empty bar of the Lynley Winery and tried to calm his erratic heartbeat. It could make those who were the most honest with their emotions run scared, while at the same time bring forth a determination in the most unlikely of people. That was something he had discovered ten minutes ago back in their suite when Logan had stood before him naked and uttered, “Just tell me how you want me, Tate. I’m yours.” That was when he’d run. Tate had practically tripped over his feet in his hurry to be free of the suddenly suffocating confines of that bathroom. And now, as he sat alone replaying Logan’s words, he stared down at the crumpled paper he’d grabbed from his wallet and studied the words in his shaking hands. His stomach knotted, then flipped over on itself time and time again, and Tate willed himself to breathe. The last thing he needed was to pass out from a panic attack, but that was exactly what was happening. He was panicking. And the reason? The reason was as clear as day. He was the dumbest motherfucker on the planet. Yeah, he was. Fucking hell. He’d heard that love made people do some stupid shit before, but this… God, what if I can’t fix this? What if Logan doesn’t want me like that anymore? The thought made him want to be sick. He squeezed his eyes shut, trying to stop the room from spinning, but all that did was bring to mind Logan back in the bathroom, beautiful as always, looking at Tate for some kind of indication of what was running through his head. And what had Tate given him? Nothing. He’d just fled. Damn it. Tate shoved the piece of paper into his pocket, along with the pen he’d grabbed from the side table back in their suite, no longer able to look at it. What had he done to them? How had he let fear of the unknown possibly ruin this? And as the memories flooded him again… I dare you to try. I think you’re my truth. Terrify me. Marry me. …he was more than aware that it was that one, the last one, that didn’t have the right ending. He’d really messed this up, but he could make it right and wanted to, more than he wanted his next breath. He placed his head in his hands and shut his eyes, trying to gather some semblance of control so he could go back, find Logan, and do the one thing he realized he should’ve done all along. It wasn’t until he heard the sound of padded feet on the hardwood floor that he looked up to see that he didn’t need to go and find Logan, because he had tracked Tate down instead. With the fire flickering behind him, the sharp angles of Logan’s cheeks and jaw only enhanced a face Tate loved more than he thought possible, and when Logan pulled out the chair opposite him and reached across the table to take his hands, Tate couldn’t believe it had taken his brain this long to catch up and get to where it now firmly was. “Hey,” Logan said, his eyes roaming over Tate’s face, no doubt for signs, clues as to why he’d run away. “Hey,” Tate replied, and then lowered his gaze to their hands, marveling over the strength he found there when they were joined. Exactly…together, not apart. Always and forever, together. “What are you doing out here?” Logan asked, and Tate swallowed as he felt Logan tighten his grip. “I, uhh…” “Tate?” Logan said before Tate could give any kind of response. “What are you doing out here?” Tate withdrew his hand and ran it through his hair, and as Logan continued to watch him, he felt his nerves kick in. “Back there in the bathroom…” he started, and then stopped. As he thought over his words, Tate wondered if there was even a way to explain how badly he’d screwed this all up, but knew the only way he’d ever know was to try. “I had a thought. It was more of a moment, I guess. A flash of us. Of all we are and will be and— Shit, I sound crazy, don’t I?” Logan’s eyes narrowed, but he shook his head. “You don’t sound crazy. But you are freaking me out a little. Were the things you were thinking good things, at least?” Tate frowned and then shot Logan an apologetic look. The last thing Tate wanted was to worry him more—it was the exact opposite. “Yeah, of course. I should’ve probably started with that. Everything about you was good. Perfect, really, but me…” “What about you? You’re pretty fucking perfect from where I’m sitting. And back there in that bathroom, trust me, you looked better than any of those naked statues on the wall.” Tate tried for a smile but knew he didn’t quite pull it off when Logan asked, “What is it, Tate? Come on; you know you can tell me anything.” Okay, this is it, Tate thought, as he swallowed and then shifted in his seat, glancing over at the fire for a moment to gather his nerve. Then he turned back to Logan and asked, “Am I too late?” At Logan’s confused expression, Tate knew he didn’t understand what he was asking. So he reached into his pocket where he’d shoved the piece of paper, and then put it on the table. He smoothed his hand over it, lovingly tracing his fingers over the name he now wanted as his own, and then pushed it over in front of Logan. As Logan stared down at it, Tate watched him read over the words on the paper, waiting for a reaction, and when Logan looked up, Tate asked again, “Am I too late?” Logan blinked several times, and Tate held his breath, wondering if he was too late. But then something miraculous happened: Logan shook his head. The blood rushing around Tate’s head made his ears ring as he tried to comprehend what Logan was telling him, but he still hadn’t said a word, so Tate pulled the pen from his pocket and leaned over to circle the name he hadn’t been able to stop looking at ever since he’d found the piece of paper. As Logan looked down again, Tate saw a huge grin split his lips. “So what do you think? Can the world handle two Mr. Mitchells?”

Review

**4.5 Stars**
There is something about this series that has captured my heart and soul. Logan and Tate are like family in my mind at this point, 6 books later and I feel as if their life is now part of my life. If you haven't read the other books, stop. don't pass go and collect $200. You NEED to read the other books first just so you can feel and experience what they have gone through. That being said, back to True. I did not want this book to end. I'm not ready to give up Logan and Tate, but I get they deserve their happy ending. True was everything I needed it to be. I seriously love these two and I can't get enough of them.
You get a doozy of a shock little more than halfway through the book but it leads us to a new series where I'm sure we will get more of these two amazing men.
