My Thoughts
I have been invested in the Holly Woods files since the very beginning. I thought I had seen it all, but I must admit that I was surprised that things could get even crazier! Tied Bond is full of more mystery, another murder, and one even crazier Nonna! Emma Hart really brought out her best in Tied Bond. This series just keeps getting better and better. It keeps climbing with the relationship that Noelle and Drake hold!
In the previous books in Holly Woods files murders were solved, thanks to Noelle, the brilliant and smart girl. This time another murder occurred in little old Holly Woods and much more is at stake. The prime suspect is Drake's mom! Noelle promises Drake that she won't get involved anymore, because in previous books, she has been in face-to-gun situations. But will Noelle just stand by and do nothing while an innocent person is being wrongfully accused?
This books brings in my favorite characters from the past, as well as some new ones that we have never seen before! It was beautifully tied in and the story flowed nicely. We get to see a new little addition, which is Bek dating! *gasp* Everyone is surprised by this and I love the FBI agent she has a date with, but I have a feeling this isn't the detective she wants. I loved that Emma Hart threw in this new little romance! Watching romance/love unfold is one of my favorite things!
I loved that Drake wasn't allowed to be all alpha in this book. We always see him as the lead detective, but this time he has to step down because his mom is the prime suspect. I got to see this whole new side to him that was adorable. His mom is very special to him and he doesn't want to disappoint her. I saw his vulnerability in not being able to do anything to help his mom out of this situation. I also go to see his relationship with Noelle grow. I love reading their interactions. It always leads to fun!
Now, Noelle is as fierce as ever. She handles everything so well and I love her! She is a strong woman and I got to see just how much she loves and cares for Drake. What I didn't expect is for Nonna to be fierce! I mean whoa! That lady is crazy and I love her for it. She brought fun and laughter into this book!
Tied Bond was more than what I expected. It gave me more to laugh about and more mystery than ever before. I really cannot recommend these books enough. I am telling you, pick them up now! They will have you wanting a detective of your own! Let me tell you, Drake Nash is HOT, all ALPHA, and all kinds of SEXY.
