STAY WITH ME
By: Kelly Elliott
Release Day : May 12, 2016

Life moves on.
Only people who have never lost anyone they loved with all their heart can blindly believe those words.
What if I didn’t want to move on? What if I wanted to wake up every morning with that familiar ache in my chest, knowing I’d never see her again?
But, life can change in a moment.
I knew that better than anyone … So, when I couldn’t get those mesmerizing green eyes out of my head, I decided to do something about it. Would one night with her be enough, or would my heart decide it was finally time to move on from the past?

REVIEW

I love it when Kelly Elliott ventures on a new journey because she knows how to write books that make your skin tingle. Stay With Me was a refreshing quick read and it was just what I needed. It makes you want to read more books like these; books that are not typical and full of new adventures. Stay With Me was a joy to read with the crazy Greek family and the hot and very Greek Thano. Even though I love the cowboys Kelly lovingly writes, I thought Stay With Me was a great addiction to her collection of books.

Thano and Kilyn have both experienced some sadness in their lives. They have a past that has long been a part of their life. For Kilyn it transformed her into living life but she also put a wall around her heart. For Thano, he has been living in regret and sorrow, too afraid to let anyone in for fear of forgetting his past. But will the past stop Thano and Kilyn from starting a relationship that can lead to so much more?

First of all, I love the name Kilyn. It is so beautiful! As for the girl behind the name, she is something! Even though this isn't about cowboys I love that Kelly added the love of country music through Kilyn. She has a passion for it and I loved that about her. The success that Kilyn has was a very good addiction. I love seeing woman in books thrive and have their own business. Her personality was also very cute. I noticed Kilyn but I noticed Thano more.

Thano was just perfection in a book. Greek, hot, sexy, and lovable. He caught my attention from the start. And boy was it a start! Way to break my heart at the beginning of the book Kelly! It was so shocking and unexpected. It made me a little mad but in the end it all worked out so I forgive you! But as Thano advanced as a character I saw that he was finally accepting things and trying to move forward. I loved his commanding self in the bedroom and his sweet words when ever he would talk to Kilyn. I melted each time he would call her ladybug. Melted. As for his family, it was a bit crazy but I loved it! It reminds me of my family. I am not Greek, but I am Mexican, and that environment exists with my family as well. I felt right at home. LOL.

Stay With Me is just the right book that you want to snuggle up with outside with a cold iced lemonade. Stay With Me left the perfect imprint on my heart. I'm just a little sad that I won't be able to get more of these characters since this was a standalone. But in the end I was satisfied! Now on to waiting for the next Kelly Elliott book....
