Twist is book in the Stage Dive series, but can be read as a
stand-alone. I love this series, it just keeps getting better with each book
and I can’t help but love these characters.
Joe and Alex ‘meet’ in person for the first time after
months of talking online. This was the perfect storm from start to finish. After
getting to know each other via the internet for months, when Alex decides to
meet in person as a surprise, does she ever get a surprise. I couldn’t help but
feel for Alex in this situation because it’s my biggest fear when it comes to
having tried the online dating thing myself. I related to her so much more than
I have to other characters in the past and I think it’s why I loved their story
even more.
Joe, what can I say about him? I loved him because of he
tries to correct his wrongs. Joe redeems himself by being friends with Alex and
getting to know her all over again. I loved this part of the story because he
gives Alex the chance to earn his trust again, but this time in person instead
of over the internet.
Joe and Alex are endearing, they are unique in their own way
and you can’t help but love them. I loved the snippets of Pat, Eric and Nell we
get and it makes me want to read dive all over again, I can’t believe we have
to wait until April 2018, to get book 3, but I’ll be filling my spare time with
a re-read!
