Married. That's right this book
starts off with marriage. Which is weird because all
books usually end with it but not this one. This book is unique and
it is marriage that starts of Chase and Mil's love/mafia
story. Mil is now the boss of the De Lange family which is
rare for woman to be boss. She asks to marry Chase and they do get married. Mil
has always loved Chase. She has loved him since she was 14. Chase, as we have
seen in the previous two other books was heartbroken when Trace choose Nixon
over him. I am glad for this because this prepared him for
Mil because she is a forced to be reckoned with. She will point a gun
to your head and she is the strongest female in this series.
She doesn't back down. I am glad that Rachel Van Dyken showed Mil's
strength as well as her weakness and emotions. This book helps me fall in love
with Chase because what he once thought of as love for Trace wasn't really
love. With Mil he shows the protectiveness and fierceness that comes
with the person you truly love. Slowly but surely, Chase starts to
understand that his love for Trace was just a strong friendship. While his love
for Mil is so passionate that his soul is completely hers for the
taking. But will the mafia end their love? Will they be able to defeat
another threat that comes their way? Will Chase and Mil survive or die
fighting?
