[Blog Tour] Leaving Me Behind by Sigal Ehrlich

Leaving Me Behind Synopsis:
A journey of self-discovery.
A mystic coastal town.
A Spanish lover.
One pulse-racing, all-consuming love affair.

Fed up with her comfortable and dull-to-boredom life, Liv takes the bravest leap, leaving it all behind. Unfortunately the crux of her issues – her entrenched, well-kept emotional guard – tags along for the ride.

With the spirit of change burning from every pore and a determined plan to break free from her self-oppressed lifestyle to enjoy life’s simplest pleasures, she moves half way across the globe to a peaceful Spanish coastal town.

With an aim to feel whole again, liberated and happy by herself, Liv begins her journey while maintaining weekly-cyber therapy sessions with her long time, questionable shrink.

As Liv finally begins to enjoy her new life and experience the varied goods the exotic country has to offer, a sudden major turn leads Liv to be swept into the most tantalizing roller coaster of her life.

A turn that leaves her questioning everything she thought was right.

THIS IS A STAND-ALONE NOVEL. Due to strong language and sexual content, this book is not intended for readers under the age of 18.

Review
4.5 out of 5 stars

This book had me hooked since the beginning! Leaving Me Behind was more than I thought it would be because it had me questioning the story. Its mystery drew me in along with the hot, sexy, and fun scenes. I absolutely loved how Sigal Ehrlich started the book. The mystery guy kept me guessing and it had me intrigued with each coming word. The man was so mysterious and she would give little snippets of him here and there until bam the scene when they "officially" met came along!

It was a journey that led Liv to a little town called Serenidad. Well more like a self discovery type of thing but she finally decides to take a trip that she had wanted to take for a while now. She has issues with her mother but she disregarded what she said and took the trip without much approval for her. I thought I knew Liv but she was not what I expected. She surprised me and intrigued me. She gets to Serenidad and she makes friends almost instantly. I liked this because she had someone to talk to and gossip with. Those friends turn out to be really great and they form a very nice bond (one bond with a person I didn't really expect). She also meets a man. The MYSTERY man that had me hooked to the book. He appeared and he revealed so little of himself he kept you wondering and guessing who could this man be?

I loved that he spoke Spanish because that is hot! I know Spanish and I love the language. I grew up with it all my life and I was expecting there to be a little more Spanish speaking in the book but there wasn't. That was about the only thing that disappointed me though! The rest of the story had me interested. I am debating whether to tell you about this mystery man. I liked the idea of it so much that I think I will let him remain a mystery. AND believe me it is really hard not to talk about him but I will give you a little something to keep you intrigued. He is a sexy beast! He is something else. When I learned more and more about him I was like my dream man. He had his bad moments but I mean who doesn't? I would have died if he would have spoken more Spanish! He was the one that had me swooning while I wanted to strangle Liv. She was just so stubborn. That made me angry. A lot. But in the end I liked her and I understood more about her reluctance.

This is was a very nice romance book. I finished it real quick and it kept me on my toes with that mystery but once that passed it was a little frustrating because of Liv but it kept getting better. The whole idea and concept was great. Sigal Ehrlich does a great job with her books. This is the second one that I have read and I knew I was going to love it. I like her writing style and I loved this book. I definitely recommend it.
