Away from the Dark is a book that will give you anxiety with each page you turn, it will leave your mind reeling, it will leave you crazy. I cannot express just how much I love this book and how crazy it is. I think Aleatha Romig is a mastermind for writing a series that is full of mystery, intrigue, love, passion, anger, strength, and weirdness. Away from the Dark is a book unlike any other and I encourage you to read this book. Drop everything and give this book a chance. It has left me crazy after weeks of reading it.
I have no explanation or a quick description for you. I don't even know what to say without giving anything away. I will not ruin your journey by giving even one little detail away. I don't even think I can describe the characters without giving too much away, but I will talk a little bit about the book.
Away from the Dark starts right off where book one left off. I loved that it got right to the point and the story got going right away. The author did perfectly with that. The climb of the book was so intense I felt like I was having heart palpitations. My heart was racing. I was feeling what the character was feeling. I was overwhelmed with emotions, dread, and I was in fear. It was as if I was submerged in this book. I felt every emotion and every thought running through the characters made me paralyzed. I had to take breaks sometimes because it was that good.
Away from the Dark is a book that you need to experience. It is a book that will make you re-think and re-evaluate. It makes you fear, cry, love, and feel. I have to say that Aleatha Romig has a new crazy stalker. She owned me with this book. It was so well written. I felt the character as if she was speaking to me. I need everyone to read this book. Go one click book one and book two. You will not regret it.

Shrill screams echoed throughout our dimly lit bedroom, accelerating my heartbeat and pulling me from the terrible nightmare. I waited for more, until the realization struck. The screams were my own.
“Jacob?” I called, my voice shaking with dread as I reached for my husband. Instead of reassurance, my fingers met cold empty sheets. He was gone—still away at another campus.
What just happened? Was it a dream?
I clung to the covers as I puffed my cheeks and slowly exhaled. While each breath helped to still the chaos, the exercise wasn’t enough.

I don't even know where to start with this book. I was shocked. I had no clue what I was reading. All I knew was that it was amazing. I couldn't stop. I couldn't put it down. I was hooked. Into the Light is my drug. Aleatha Romig has become my obsession. I am going to stalk you forever now. I am so obsessed with these books it's not even funny.
So don't even let me explain this book. It is crazy. CRAZY. I have no explanation of how Aleatha Romig even came up with this genius work. I just love this crazy books so much. It is unlike anything I have ever read and I love it. A journalist, Stella, is trying to investigate the disappearance of her best friend Sara. She discovers all these clues to help her out but none of it makes sense. That is all I am willing to tell you. Just read this book. Feel the mystery, the intrigue, the craziness, the anxiety.
