Oh, this book. I seriously couldn’t get enough of it. I wasn’t sure how I felt about Maddox in the other two books (don’t worry they can be read as standalones, but I wouldn’t do it that way)… but then I got my hands on Playmaker. I love Maddox, I might even go as far as saying he is my favorite so far. His relationship with Lacey makes you want to crawl through your kindle to squeeze them both!  This is the perfect book for anyone who likes hockey romances and looking for a man with an amazing sensitive side.

Rachel Van Dyken knows how to rip your heart out and make you bleed while you hold it in your hand. This is exactly what this series does to you and I absolutely love it. It shakes you and leaves you breathless and I wouldn't have it any other way. Rachel Van Dyken has created brilliance with this series and with each new book I get more enthralled.

Chase. My lovely Chase. Since the beginning he was a great character. I fell in love with his charisma and his all-around joking banter. I loved him then but as a tortured soul he broke my heart. He was different and broken. I was not prepared for him but I understood the pain and the torture. It was a beautiful broken road to recovery that you can't pull away from. I loved every moment that this book gave me. I treasured each word and fell more in love with the mafia men. I was anxious and scared. Surprised and relieved. It was a whirlwind of emotions.

This book... what can I say about something that was simply amazing?  Cole and Owen's story isn't the author's usual romance, for her first M/M story, she did such an amazing job. I never know how I'm going to feel when I start reading M/M books, but I can honestly say that Fresh Catch was one of my absolute favorites to date. There was something so real about these two and how they found each other. I loved seeing how they meet, watching them fall in love and grow together.
