4 out of 5 stars
This book was an overall good book. It starts off with a new
start in life. I mean Alivia (the main character) changes her look and her
clothes when she starts college. She was classified as a nerd throughout high
school so she wanted to try something different. I respect that but I did have
some problems with Livi. She stops doing what she loves to do and loses a part
of herself when she does this. I didn’t like the new friends she made because
they were so into their looks and boys and they didn’t seem real to me. Livi
wanted to be with the in crowd so she basically forgot about her friend Adam.
So Adam was not the boy for me in the beginning of the book
but just like Livi I slowly started falling for him without realizing it. It
kind of surprised me too. My favorite part was when Adam was saying pick up
lines to Livi. I was laughing real hard. That’s when I completely fell for
Adam. Then some things happen that I refuse to mention that you will see when
you read the book. The book was good but some problems I had was that it didn’t
transition well from one scene to another and the ending happened way to fast.
Well I hope you enjoy this book.

Goodreads Description:
Labelled a nerd for most of high
school, Livi sees her first year of university as a chance to redefine herself.
She can finally enter the popular crowd and maybe even land herself a super hot
boyfriend. But Livi’s about to discover that the price of popularity may be more
than she’s willing to pay, and that what—and who—she wants most has always been
right in front of her.
