Let me tell you first how much I LOVE Kelly Elliot. I have read all her books and I love them. I think the reason I love them so much is because they remind me of my farm, small town, garden, and horses. You could say I’m a farmer’s daughter because I love the ranch just as much as my dad does. It gives me peace and quiet and I can connect with nature (that’s why I love to read outside in my garden). That is what reading Kelly Elliot’s books do to me (give me a connection to who I am).

So lets get started with the review of Without You, which is Alex and Will’s story. This is the next generation, which I think is amazing that Kelly Elliot continued with it. I really loved all the characters in the Wanted and The Journey of Love Series (Josh being my favorite, which was a tough choice because who can refuse Gunner, Jeff, Scott, Lark *sigh*, and sweet Garret). Will is Josh’s son and I didn’t think I could love anyone more that Josh but I think Will did (Josh raised him right). Alex is Gunner and Ellie’s daughter and she is just as sweet as Ellie. Their love started young at ten years old but it didn’t flourish until they were 17. Alex and Will try to hide their relationship but they get caught by Alex’s father. Out of all of the men I would think that Gunner would understand love more than anyone but he doesn’t where it concerns his little Alex. That is why I was not very happy with Gunner in this book. He separates Alex and Will by making Alex go to UT Austin while Will goes to A & M. This is where Alex starts to have doubts in her head about her feelings towards Will. My sweet Will on the other hand is strongly and passionately in love with Alex that he refuses to even look at another girl (that is why I love him). He never doubts his and Alex’s love but some complications happen when Will finds Alex with another guy! Read Without You to find out if their love will survive!
