Baseball has never been sexier in an all-new novel by New York Times Bestselling Author, K. Bromberg.

Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. The game is his life. His passion. His everything.

So, when an injury threatens to end Easton’s season early, the team calls in renowned physical therapist, Doc Dalton, to oversee his recovery. Except it’s not Doc who greets Easton for his first session, but rather, his daughter, Scout. She may be feisty, athletic, defiant, and gorgeous, but Easton is left questioning whether she has what it takes to help him.
Scout Dalton’s out to prove a female can handle the pressure of running the physical therapy regimen of an MLB club. And that proof comes in the form of getting phenom Easton Wylder back on the field. But getting him healthy means being hands-on.
And with a man as irresistible as Easton, being hands-on can only lead to one thing, trouble. Because the more she touches him, the more she wants him, and she can’t want him. Not when it’s her job to maintain the club’s best interest, in regards to whether he’s ready to play.
But when sparks fly and fine lines are crossed, can they withstand the heat, or is one of them bound to get burned?

Reviews
**5 Stars**
Holy whoa, that is how I feel about this book. Everything about it consumed me. K. Bromberg did an amazing job on this and I just can't get over it. I will admit I've read the last 5 pages at least 6 times over and over again trying to figure out if what I read, really read! I'm still can't get over it. I still can't get over how much I love Easton and Scout. This book is everything! I felt so many different things when I was reading this book and serious, I can't get over how much I loved it. It was everything I needed when I read it and had me feeling all the things. I've been on this high of "oh em gee" since I finished it and I'm secretly sad I can't experience for the first time again. I'm having a serious book hangover and I don't know if I'll recover until July when The Catch comes out!

Easton Wylder is baseball royalty. Being the son of baseball legend Cal Wylder he has things to live up to and goals to achieve, but when a dirty play injures his shoulder his career is put on hold until he completes rehab and is cleared to play. Insert Scout Dalton here!

Scout Dalton is on a mission to win a long term contract with the local baseball team the Aces. It's the last wish of her dad and she is going to do everything in her power to achieve this goal for him, because this goal gives her roots, something she hasn't ever had. The only catch? It depends on her ability to get Easton Wylder back into perfect playing shape.

Scout has be around professional athletes her entire life and attraction to them has never been a problem until Easton. Their relationship quickly strays from professional but is it just what they both needed? Will it be able to survive?

I seriously can't wait until July. The wait might kill me and I can't wait to get my hands on book 2, I know there are things I need answer to and I need to know what happens between Easton and Scout. Until then, I'll be doing another re-read to make sure I don't miss them too much.

The Player by K. Bromberg has left me in absolute turmoil. My mind is spinning with possibilities and love for this story. K. Bromberg's writing is spectacular and she delivered a story that was sexy, gripping, and outstanding. I can't stop thinking about this book and these characters. She sucked me in from page one and I wasn't able to let go of this brilliance. I don't think I can stop thinking about if for a long while.

The Player starts us off with Scout, a physical therapist that is one of the best out there. She was called to get Easton Wylder back out on the field after his injury. Scout is tough and doesn't play around. She is focused on the player but Easton keeps getting under her skin. What will happen between these two and can they survive it?

Scout is one of my favorite female characters. She is strong and determined and won't let anything stop her. She is there for one thing and that is to get Easton Wylder better. She just can't stop thinking about him. He is not the guy she thought he would be and that attracts her to him even more. I love that she tries to deny it for the sake of her career. I think it is unavoidable though, because if I were her, I would be all over Easton.

Cal is just completely swoon worthy. I was attracted to him since the beginning but as I kept reading I was all in. He won me over with his charm and his incredibly humble heart. He is not your typical player. There is so much depth to his character and I loved that K. Bromberg gave us that. He is passionate and works hard. Everyone wants him to be as good as his amazing and legendary dad, Cal Wylder. Easton hates that he has to live under his shadow and he works hard to be just as good as his father. His dedication and heart are amazing. I can't stop gushing over this man. He won my soul.

I need more and I can't wait for more. The player is one of my favorite reads this year. It was amazing , heart warming, and beautiful. I was left in shock by this story and I am going to need more. K. Bromberg has created characters that won't let me go. They are holding me hostage and I am totally okay with that.

Short Interview with K. Bromberg!
What is your favorite scene to have written in The Player?

Hmm… whew, that’s a hard one because there are a lot that I had fun writing… I think the ending chapters for me… I enjoy crafting that perfect ending. There is also a scene between Easton and Scout on a private baseball field that I really enjoyed.

What gets your inspiration going?

It can be a single song lyric. It can be a dream. It can be a story on the news. I find it everywhere.

If you could be any animal what would you be and why?

I’d be a dog in my house. They have the life. lol.
