And one moment, brought her heart, soul, and body back to life. From the very first moment he saw her, Luken Schaffer couldn’t get Cadence out of his mind. He wanted her. He needed her. ReviewIn The Moment is a quick short story but it grips you with all the feels and powerful emotions. Leave it to Alison G. Bailey to write such a quick read but still have a strong impact on you. I have read and loved all her other books and they always hit me strong. I was expecting something quick and fun love story, but even with such a low word coup she packed in EVERYTHING. It was an amazing novella.
Luken and Cadence meet after one night of going out. The passion is there since that night, but Cadence leaves Luken. She thinks that they won't ever see each other again, but he shows up at her work. That shock and passion is still there. The only problem that Cadence is scared of is that Luken is so much younger than her. Luken wants her, but will she give him a chance?
Alison G. Bailey surprised me with the depth and power that was put into IN The Moment. It is so short but the story is full and complete. It evokes so much emotions and love and wonder. I loved this story and it is definitely worth the read.
