1. What’s your name?

Hi everyone, my name is Tanya!

2. Where in the world are you blogging from?

I am blogging from the middle of nowhere Texas and I love it here! Peace, quite, and lots of animals to take pictures of!

3. How did you get into blogging in the first place?

I first go into the blogging community because me and my friend Gina read the Lux Series by Jennifer L. Armentrout. That book inspired us to start blogging. We didn't even know book blogging communities existed until we looked it up. So we said "let's do it!" and we did, so here we are now! 

4. How did you come up with your blog name?

Me and Gina spent days going back and forth between blog names. We didn't know what we wanted. In the end we thought book boutique sounded cute so we went with that and added our first initials!

5. What genre do you read and review the most on your blog?

I love reading and reviewing contemporary romance, new adult, paranormal, and dystopian. As long as a book has romance in it I will probably fall in love with it!

6. What other types of posts do you do on your blog, apart from reviews?

I do Midnight Monday posts and Top Ten Tuesday posts. Midnight Monday is our original meme here at T & G Book Boutique. If a book makes it on there that means that it was worth it to stay up late and read it. I've been lacking on those posts but I'm trying to start it up again!

7. Best blogging experience so far?

My best blogging experience so far is meeting 3 beautiful and lovely ladies from the blogging community! Amy, Brooklyn, and Dexy blog over at Silly, Sexy, Sassy, and Occasionally Classy. They have made my life better and I love them all. We are in constant contact with each other on a daily basis! We talk about anything and everything! They have seriously become my best friends. I hope to meet them soon! #sisterbirches #ABCD

8. Favorite thing about the blogging community?

My favorite thing about the blogging community is the interaction and support that I receive from other bloggers and authors. It amazes me how many new people I've met! When an author messages me or tells me that my review is wonderful, that makes my day. I am so grateful to have met so many wonderful people.

10. Name the 5 books you want to read this 2016 that you didn’t get to in previous years!

I have so many books that I want to read that I didn’t have a chance to in pervious years! Here are my top 5:

-The Lunar Chronicles Series by Marissa Meyer

-A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Mass

-Throne of Glass Series by Sarah J. Mass

-Oblivion by Jennifer L. Armentrout

-Sweet Temptation by Wendy Higgins

11. What’s an underrated book or series that you think everyone should read?

I have two books that I think are underrated and people should definitely read! The first one is the More Than Series by Jay McLean. I don’t think enough people have heard of this series or this author. She is amazing! I have read and loved all of her books. I really recommend reading her books they are so worth it!

The next book is called Taking Mine by Rachel Schneider. This is her debut novel and she killed it! It is so good. She did amazing! She is an incredible woman too! Although, she is the worst self-promoter ever lol. I told her I would do it for her because her book is that good and it deserves to be read!

12. Which book boy would be your book boyfriend?

This is a hard one! I love a lot of boys. I am going to have to go with Blake from Where The Road Takes Me by Jay McLean. I just recently finished listening to the audiobook and it reminded me of why I fell in love with him in the first place. He is something incredible.

13. Who would you recruit for your apocalypse squad.

This is a fun question! I would recruit:

14. Apart from reading, what are your other hobbies or interests?

When I am not reading I am taking pictures! I love taking pictures especially in the summer. Gardening is another hobby of mine so when I plant my flowers and they are in bloom, you bet I will be out there taking pictures. I also love binge-watching shows. Recently I fell in love with Scandal so I am watching it every Thursday! #TeamJake

15. Apart from book shopping, what else do you like shopping for?

I love shopping for antique things! I love finding unique stuff so I can take pictures of them! I also love shopping for clothes, jewelry, and purses!

16. Author you want to meet and sit down to tea with?

Jay McLean! Duh. I love her! She is amazing.
