Review
This is there third book in the Off The Map Series. I have followed all of Bran and Talia's crazy ups and downs but this book really impacted me the most. It showed me that Lia Riley writes real and true characters. It is not like other stories that you read and it feels fake, superficial, or not really real, if you know what I mean. Talia and Bran feel very real to me. They have real problems, real happiness, and true feelings. That is what drew me to them in the very beginning. They are both strong but they are also weak, which helps bring me into their lives.
Bran and Talia have had a lot of issues to deal with and we can see that from the first two books. I have loved their journey and I feel like I was part of it. They made me feel everything that they went through. This is why it makes me sad to watch this series come to a close but I am very happy for Lia and I congratulate her for this amazing series.
Ok, so let me tell you about this book. So in the second book we see that Bran and Talia are finally going to have a chance to be together. Just when I thought yes, BAM I am hit with some bad news. I am like seriously?! These people can never catch a break. I don't really want to say what that issue is because it is a huge part of the book but I will tell you that I became a little angry with Talia and fell a lot more in love with Bran because of this. It was different than the other books because this time Bran and Talia were in the U.S. So at times I found myself laughing because of the things that happened in the book. One time in particular that I can't seem to get over is when Bran is trying to order something but the waitress can't understand him because of his accent. She keeps asking him what? and it's funny to watch Bran get frustrated.
This book was really fun to read. It is kind of a journey for Bran and Talia. They need to experience what it is like for them to be together and it is make particularly difficult for the reason I refuse to talk about (you will find out really soon in the book though). It is a quick read. I read it fairly quickly like in a few days and that's just because I had a lot of assignments to do for my classes. I am really satisfied with this book and I really recommend you read this series.
P.S. my favorite is this third book so if you want to know about it your going to have to read the other two books in the series.
All Things Bran:
So I wanted to talk about Bran so I am dedicating this section just for him. I felt like Bran has really opened up but especially so in this book. He is the sweetest and I fell in love with him more. I could tell that he really cares about Talia. The little things he does and the way he pushes her to face her fears is a good thing, especially for Talia. It helps her but I feel like he encourages her just as much. He is always there to support her and I am glad he gets her out of her funk.
My favorite Bran moments:
1. "Let's clear this up once and for all. Every atom, every last one in my heart is yours. When I'm with you..." I wrap my hand around her fingers, still syrupy sticky. "Bloody hell, Talia. It's the only time I'm not practicing at being alive."
2. "I don't have the right words to explain my heart, but there's something infinite at work here. My love is a deep as the roots of these mountains.
She parts her lips and stares a long moment. "Um, I think you have pretty good words."
"You deserve better ones."
3. "I've never washed another person's hair before, but with her, all the stuff, the little gestures that always seemed to intimate, too much, are just right."
4. "Show me the way back to you." He buries his face in my neck, drags his lips to the place behind my ear, the headwaters for all delicious shivers.
"I want that so much."
"I'll do whatever it takes, go off the map."
"We're already there."

Lia Riley writes offbeat New Adult Romance. After studying at the University of Montana-Missoula, she scoured the world armed only with a backpack, overconfidence and a terrible sense of direction. She counts shooting vodka with a Ukranian mechanic in Antarctica, sipping yerba mate with gauchos in Chile and swilling XXXX with stationhands in Outback Australia among her accomplishments. When not torturing heroes (because c'mon, who doesn't love a good tortured hero?), Lia herds unruly chickens, camps, beach combs, daydreams about as-of-yet unwritten books, wades through a mile-high TBR pile and schemes yet another trip. She and her family live in Northern California.
