[Review] Parker by Jillian Quinn

Title: Parker
Author: Jillian Quinn
Series:Face-Off, Book 1
Release Date: February 14, 2017
Format: eArc

I'm Alex Parker, the best defenseman in the NHL, heartbreaker, and troublemaker. My team had the best penalty kill record in the league, thanks to me. I was on a winning team and so close to the Stanley Cup before I hooked up with the wrong puck bunny—the team owner’s granddaughter. Oops! So, they shipped me off to Philadelphia to play for the Flyers, one of the worst teams in the league.
My agent thinks I need to clean up my act. I drink too much. I sleep around too much. He assigns Charlotte Coachman, aka Coach, to whip me into shape. Coach is a sexy as hell sports agent that challenges me, and every time we're around each other it's as if we're having our own face-off. I want her but she has strict rules about dating clients. And I like breaking them.

Review
**4.5 Stars**
This was my first book by Jillian Quinn and I loved it. It's no secret that I love hockey romance stories, so when I saw this was available to read and the start of a new series, I jumped at the chance of reading it. I'm so glad I did too!
Alex Parker is a troublemaker and has a reputation of a being the NHL bad boy. He's extremely talented on the ice, but off the ice he is somewhat a disaster. After making a poor hookup decision, he finds himself in hot water with the team’s owner and the book stars off when him being traded to the Philadelphia Flyers. What he doesn't expect is how bad they are and his agents desire for him to clean up his act. When Mickey, his agent, assigns Coach to him he wasn't prepared to be whipped into shape and to fall in love all at the same time.
Charlotte "Coach" Coachman hasn't had an easy life, but the trials she has gone through have made her one of the best sports agents at DMG ever. So when Mickey assigns her to whip Alex Parker into shape, she is more than happy to. What she wasn't prepared for was to fall in love with him. As much as she fights her feelings for him, the harder she falls and she learns that there is more to this handsome hockey player.
I loved their story. It was a quick fun read and you can't help but love Alex and Coach, together and as individuals. I can't wait to see more from the author and this series.
